Nice Fit, Very Much Needed!
Installation: Remove the aluminum track mounting plate. Nice to have 2 people (a feeder and a puller), however installation is possible with one person. This seal replacement was very much needed on my 25 year old doors (9' and 16'). Make sure you clean up the seal mounting tracks. I used silicone spray, tooth brush, and compressed air.

Exactly what was needed
After 10 years the seal around our garage door wore out. After researching we found the correct item and it arrived quickly and was exactly what was needed. Be aware it takes some finesse to get it on, but once it was on it works perfectly.

Product as expected, reasonable price
Easy to install for one person, took me under half hour. They give you couple extra inches on each end. I used screwdriver to pry apart clamps holding the old one, slid in the new one and used pliers to gently tighten to hold in new one. Four stars instead of five because rubber could be thicker but it works. I expect it will last 5yrs at least keeping bugs, cold and heat out of my garage.

Good replacement for old one
Fits my Wayne Dalton 9100 correctly. Install is a bit tricky. I removed the whole retainer bar from the bottom of the door, so I could work on the ground (remove almost all the screws but the outermost two, which you can loosen a little and then pull the bar out by bending in the center). The retainer bar is punched at either end to pinch the gasket in place so you need to pry that apart to get the old gasket out and the new gasket in. Used WD-40 to help get old gasket out and new gasket in. Need two people to get the retainer back in place, bending far out at the center and then cupping back in under the far edge. I pulled the gasket through so there are about 3" extending past either end to allow for the rubber shrinking in weather.

Fit My Dalton Door Perfectly
Had to install it myself unfortunately. An extra pair of hands feeding the seal would have helped a lot. Had to remove the bracket off the door and lay it on the floor, then sprayed the tracks with silicone. Used a couple pieces of scrap wood and a clamp to channel the seal into the groves on the input end. Eventually it got done with no rips or tears. Better fit and cheaper than replacing the entire assembly.

Very easy installation. Fit perfectly.
I have a 19 year old Wayne Dalton garage door and this was a very easy DYI job. The seal is exactly as pictured. To remove the old seal I started at one end and cut about a 3 inch section down the middle. then a cut it to the seal up to the metal track. Then I took a pliers and pulled the 2 pieces of seal out of the track. Once that was done I inserted the handle of the pliers inside the seal and pulled down which pulled one side out of the track. I did this while walking the full length of the door. Then I just pulled the outer side out. Very easy. I sprayed WD 40 in the 2 tracks and then feed the new seal the length of the door. Did it myself. Start to finish about 15 minutes. One thing to watch for....the end of the track may have been pinched tight to keep the seal in place. Spreading it with a flathead screwdriver may be necessary. Don’t try to slide the old seal out of the track. Mine was in there 19 years and it wasn’t about to to slide.

fits fine needs help sealing
A bit of a challenge to install, It is a thinner material that the other seals I replaced, they were different brand doors. This one just folds over flat. I had to fabricate a filler out of foam pipe insulation, cut to size and shape. This gave the seal some body and it will now crush and seal well.

Cheap thin rubber
I ended up rolling this up and using it inside of the old one. Had to stretch the old one out. Worked good then haha. Very thin rubber but was only one I could find for the door

Much easier with a little help.
This weather seal was a perfect replacement. Just sprayed some WD40 into the channel’s for lubrication and two of us were easily able to slip it into position. Trimmed off a couple of inches and we were done.
