Greed (An Amber Monroe Crime Thriller Book 1)

A book you don't want to put down.
The story moved right along. There was no down time. The plot twisted enough for a good time. I still felt sorry for Grant.

Just excellent
Just read this book for the second time. Just nice to a writer able to put together so many characters and have it still make sense. Really liked it.

crime thriller
Milwaukee, WI. Mr. McKinley Moore (father, boss) told Joe to take Royce with him.Juan brought Charlie Dupree (Joe’s cousin) in to see Mr. Moore. It did not go well for Joe or Charlie. There are 2 dead bodies lying in the ditch on Paradise Drive (South Oak Rd.).Lieutenant Jack Steele was sending Detective Billings, Detective Clayton, Deputy Sheriff Kate Pierce (Washburn County), Deputy Sheriff Amber Monroe (narrator, Washburn County), the ME, & Forensics to the crime scene.Deputy Silver was there to greet the bunch.Ken Lettley (husband), & Elise Lettley (wife) had found the bodies.Lena Wayfair (ME), Jason McMillian (Lena’s asst.), Kyle Miller (forensic), Dan Brent (forensic),Jerry Gundrum (asst.), & Jeff Peterson (asst.) were scouring the area for evidence.Frank Moore (eldest son), & Grant Moore (younger son), also helped with the counterfeit money-making operation.Juan Martinez (quality control Inspector), & Derek (quality control Inspector) were called into Mr. Moore’s office.Marco (shipping/receiving, delivery) was called into Mr. Moore’s office.Good news for him he was promoted to HR.Grant Moore (twin, aka Lowe) Shooters bartender was closing for the night.Donny, Drake, Bonnie, Trish were helping cleanup also. What did Marco’s do to Juan Martinez. What did Marco call Mr. Moore (boss) about? What was Royce Denning being interrogated about? Will the murder crimes be solved & someone brought to justice?I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written crime thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another crime thriller great movie, or better yet a mini TV series. A very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; EBookStage; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Stupid criminals
I mean how dumb are they? They left clues every where. Dead bodies, cigarette buts and so on. Otherwise it was a good fast read.

Greed
This was a great read and well written. All of Ms. Sutter's books have been on point so I bought each series 😊. On to the next book...

Best mystery in a local for me setting
I chose to give 5 stars because this book made me feel like I was actually there. East to read. It was such a good read I found myself reading literally all day. My tv never went on. Love this kind of book murder mystery involving police. Plus it is in my neck of the woods. Milwaukee Minnesota.I love between them.

BASIC STORY IS OKAY, BUT FILLED WITH FLUFF AND FILLER TO ADD BOOK LENGTH. MAKES FOR A DULL READ.
Well I must say that the basic story line of the book is actually pretty good. BUT, there is so much fluff and unnecessary fillers used to add length and pages to the story to make it a novel, that this book downgrades itself. EG: Amber, our lead, has a dentist appointment, but takes lunch orders from her cohorts, goes to the dentist, even describes the waiting room right down to the wallpaper, stops to pick up the food, talks to a stranger there and returns to work. This took pages and pages to relate, none of which affected the story. The core bad guys here are a family of murderers, thieves, money counterfeiters, and just all round bad guys. But we don't need every single word of every single verbal exchange from every single person, plus every nuance of, well, everything from everyone to explain and cover everything about everything either. While the story started well, it became a real ce to keep going as the writing style just became dull and exasperating. I won't be reading any more of this Amber Munroe series, and really wish it had been written as well as the Jade Munroe series, Amber's FBI Agent sister.

Really great
This is a very easy flowing read with so much going on in it. The crime plot is very good with the boss doing things to ‘help’ not realising what he was doing was helping the police. It’s all very good. A clean read that left me wondering till the end.

Crime
I enjoyed the book. A lot of backstory missing, but I that would be covered in previous series. Editing was good. Good ending.

Excellent
The true gift of an author is to wrap you into their story without you even knowing you've been snared.
