Great large daysack or small rucksack.
As you'd expect from Gregory, this a first class pack. The labelling on the bag says it's women's specific, but I suspect this is mostly marketing as I can't see anything particularly specific to the design that makes it so. I'm a 172cm tall man and I find it a very comfortable bag. The chest straps can be positioned up and down to accomadate your personal chest geometry, and the overall carry height can be infinitely adjusted with a velcro adjuster so you can really tailor it to a perfect fit. Couple all this with a mesh backplate to keep airflow to your back and this is an incredibly comfortable pack. There are plenty of options on how to use this pack, with pockets and clips all over the place. There is elasticated pockets for easy access to drink bottles, and there is a very large pocket at the back to store wet coats or anything you need quick. There is space to securely attach walking poles (or ice axes if you're particularly adventurous!), and everything is very well thought out. There is space for a hydration pack with routing and clips for the tube as well. It's a 'top loading' bag, so everything goes in through the top. This means you're not relying on zips to hold everything in, but it does make access to things buried in your bag a bit more difficult. There is an access zip for the bottom of the pack that opens very wide, but its hard to reclose if you've really crammed stuff in there.A rain cover is supplied loose in the top of the pack, so you can discard this if you don't need it and use the space for something else, and there are surprisingly large hip pockets on the belt. Basically, there's space for loads of stuff, and it feels larger than the stated 34 litres capacity.Carrying it is great. It's a well balanced bag, and the weight is noticably transferred to your hips. It allows a decent enough amount of airflow around your back so it's not too sweaty. All the zips are robust and have nice big pulls on them to make it easy to use with gloves on. Buckles are quality plastic and the fabrics are very tough and heavy duty, especially on the bottom. The design is pretty smart too, enough that you can use this in the city without looking like you're on your way to Kilimanjaro, but serious enough that out in the sticks you won't look like a dilletante. This is a great bag that should last many years of abuse and still look good. It's a brilliant pack, super recomneded.(If you found this review useful, I'd love it if you let me know with a click below - thanks!)

Hands down the best rucksacks imaginable
There are two main competitors for the top spot when it comes to rucksacks and I have used the other brand for years but alas I am here to surrender my preference and let the world know that Gregory packs are without a doubt the best rucksacks on Earth.Trend has a lot to answer for when we choose the best products we can buy. I am a member of lots of hiking pages on social media and Osprey are usually given the hands-down top rucksack award from hikers and campers alike purely because that is what most people assume but we finally have something that is better.. A LOT BETTER.Zip quality is incredible, the zip grips are incredible, the ability to withstand weather is incredible, the robust quality of the material means these packs can be thrown all over the place with no concern for damage. The compartments are enough and of great size without being over complicated or of no use. The tension ability of the sacks to draw everything together into a tight bundle no matter how full are perfect and the actual wear and sturdiness of the strap system has never once left me feeling weighed down no matter what I have faced. The pack sits tight, everything stays together, the water bladder sits firm (not included) and the comfort is something that needs to be experienced in order to be believed.Just the best the absolute best - get one... in fact get two!!

A top quality day pack for hiking , mountain climbing, superb quality rucksack
This is an excellent quality backpack, up there with the best , with its built in alloy wishbone frame and superb build quality and durability this Amber rucksack and other Gregory backpacks are up there with osprey as some of the best hiking backpacks on the market. The build quality is exceptional throughout , the zips , shoulder straps , buckles are all excellent quality we have come to expect from Gregory packs.I really like the colour, it's marked as a woman's backpack on the label but i see no reason whatsoever that men and women can't both use this. It's the perfect backpack for longer hikes with its good 34l capacity, you could get a lot in this pack , all the essentials you would need on a ramble would fit comfortably in this backpack, so it makes a top quality day pack. The Amber backpack is packed with features and compartments to store your gear safely and separately, the main compartment is large with another pocket towards the back.It has a large stretchy pocket on the outer for items of clothing, gloves, towel, waterproof shell jacket for easy access on your hikes.Attachment points for hiking sticks or water bottle , it also has mesh pockets for drink bottles. It's designed to move with your body and has straps to keep it tight to you and distribute the weight , so it's great for scrambling, steep hills and mountain climbing.Gregory make exceptional quality rucksacks , well worth the money they are durable and well designed backpacks, top quality!

Lightweight and Versatile
I have never owned or used a backpack before but when this came up I wanted to give it a try and start a campaign of keeping fit in a small way by walking across country. Not having used one before I didn't know what to expect but on arrival this certainly looks the part. This backpack has pockets galore and is very well put together with strong, tidy stitching and a waterproof fabric. Each of the pockets and cavities are opened using a zipper which are of a high quality and open and close with little effort in a very positive manner. The top of the large main cavity has an elasticated hole which I assume is for holding long items such as walking poles whilst the lower end is zipped and the other pockets are all in easy reach for access to food, fluids and anything else needed on a long hike. When trying this on, I adjusted the straps and once I had made it the correct fit it feels very comfortable and lightweight, I believe a good part of why this feels so comfortable is the firm back support which helps to spread the load evenly on my back, the only thing I could really feel was the weight of the items loaded into the pack.I know very little about these things but this definitely does the job well and is a joy to use.Recommended.

I say this because this Gregory Unisex - Adult Amber Backpack is supper good,
In the market we live in today, some things are expensive just because the manufacturer wants to make a lot of money.Fortunately not everyone is equal, some manufacturers do not sell expensive things just for the money but for the value it represents, so the value we pay corresponds to the product we receive in return.I say this because this Gregory Unisex - Adult Amber Backpack is supper good, it's actually one of the best and most suitable camping bags I've ever had the pleasure of having in my hands. Rain resistant - yes Compact - yes Resistant to tears - yes Comes with rain cover - yes Adjustable shoulders - yesPossible to grab other things around - yesWhen empty it is possible to decrease the size - yesIt has several compartments - yes manyHas easy access compartments for wallet and keys - yesIn other words, this backpack is worth 100% of the amount charged because it is everything a good backpack should have, when completely empty it takes up very little space and when full it can carry more things than a man should carry on his back.
