I've had allergy and sinus problems for decades, even got allergy testing. However, oral inhalers tend to dry out my mouth and now that I am in my late 60's almost 70 long term use of prescription meds concerns me too. So, after some research I saw Quercetin mentioned several times. Quercetin acts like an antihistamine as reported "it interferes with Th2cytokines, which drive allergies." It is difficult to find Quercetin in our local stores so I order it on-line. These are 500 mg capsules which I take once a day during allergy season and when I have bad allergic outbreaks. There are 60 capsules in this bottle and I have not found them to taste unpleasant. I can swallow them easily with water but if you have problems with swallowing you could add them to oatmeal, yogurt or applesauce to facilitate swallowing. As with the addition of supplements when in doubt it might be wise to consult your healthcare provider first.
