Great for strong and beautiful nails, no UV light needed!
I started out by prepping my nails. This kit came with the tools you needed and complete instructions. I put a paper plate underneath the jar of powder to catch the extra: this also made it easy to pour back in the jar when finished. I made sure to go in at an angle so I didn't mush the powder. My nails are very long and the whole nail fit in and was covered when I did it at an angle. The brush worked great to dust off the extra powder. I did 2 coats then applied the activator. Once I did the first coat I had a rhythm and it went very fast. The final product comes out a bit bumpy. It was easy to smooth out with the nail file, although I kinda like the rough textured look! I did notice the base coat pick up color after the first round, so I would recommend using the nail cleaner, which was included. This kit came with many beautiful colors, but you can also mix them to create your own color! There are 2 extra brushes which is great. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I think the top coat could have been a bit more shiny. My nails came out beautiful. I had them on for almost two weeks and I had zero lifting, chipping or color distortion. I didn't even have to apply another coat of top coat. Also, this was applied to a fake nail that already had finger nail polish on it! I received this product for free to test and review. I absolutely recommend this kit. Also note that no UV device is needed to get these nails!

Completely thrilled
I normally don’t do reviews unless I have gotten a product for free (there are legitimate companies you can do this for). I paid for this and I can guarantee this is an honest review!! I am the worst at doing my nails. I am artistically unskilled in every way possible. I make an absolute mess, get polish everywhere and it is always uneven and ugly. This was so simple! Even using my non dominant hand was simple. It isn’t perfect, but with practice I’m sure I’ll get there. I love the results. I honestly suggest you give this a try, I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised.A few cautionary notes: don’t put the base coat on thick or unevenly and the final top coat takes about 5 minutes (or more) to completely dry.

Not perfect but a pretty great at-home solution
Pros:The color choices! I find it hard to pick just one when starting my manicure. Really fun options. The tools are great, I like the thin fan brush vs the big chubby one I had from Nailboo. The extra product brushes are a nice touch, as I figure the dip base will eventually need to be replaced even with using the brush saver.Easy to apply but this is not something that comes naturally, it takes a few times to really get the hang of it.Similar to other dip products, the nails just kind of easily pop off with some prodding once it’s time for a new set. I certainly haven’t made it a full two weeks but more like a week and a half, which is fine with me.Cons: I have noticed a few tiny cracks on a couple of nails (I’ve done three sets of different colors at this point) but they are not noticeable to anyone but me. I am harder on my hands than most, though (lots of craft/water related projects which I know can deteriorate a mani faster)Beats going to a salon, will be ordering from this brand again for sure.

Impressed ( updated to add more details)
***UPDATE***i took this from 5 stars to 3. I have bought the Modelones brand as well and I much prefer that brand.I do still like to use these from time to time but they don't seem to hold up as long as the other brand. Even when. I use these I still top with 2 coats of clear Modelones before top coating just to strenthen them a bit.I also changg out the brunch in the #1 to a thinner brush that makes it easier to apply.Again I am very active and HARD.on my hands so you may not have any issues with themThe application I use that works for me (which ever brand I am using), is a dehydrator (purchased separately)3 thin layed of #1, starting about middle nail and each layer working back towards the cuticle. 2 additional layers of #1 and clear powder, 2 layers of #2, 2 layers of #3 (top coat). It takes me about an hr and I need the slightly thicker nail to keep it from braking while I go about all my heavy activities. If you are going to ONLY buy one of those 2 brands. Buy Modelones though.****First of all make sure you take the packaging out of the box it comes in the tools are located underneath and are easy to miss.Secondly the colors that arrive seem different than the colors that are displayed, however I'm ok with it. I would like if the bottles clearly stated what colors the powders actually were. For example I thought I was picking a light pink powder with subtle pink glitter.... And after everything was on and done it was actually clear powder with silver/ rainbow metallic glitter (an option I didn't even see on the advertising) With that being said this was my first time ever doing dip powders and I am extremely happy with the results. I did watch some YouTube videos and picked up a few tips and tricks before I started (like putting all the liquids to end shot glasses to hold them steady, doing outside on a nice day to alleviate the fumes, and the best way to apply the base coat to avoid clumpy nails and cuticles) but I am so happy with the results. I will update in a few weeks if they do not hold up to the test of time, or if the next time I go to use the liquids there is any issues. But so far I am happy with the finished results. I only needed to file a few small spots and did not have to buff at all
