ideal for the skinny baby, hand wash
I checked through all the pictures I could on the original website to see how they work on chubby thighs and was encouraged by a pic seeing them cover without looking like they pinch. so i ordered about ten pairs since my daughter has problems with pants sizing (98th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight for a nine month old). They are long enough and super cute. Unfortunately, they roll down to below her knees with in minutes and even the ones made for crawlers with reinforced knees do the same. I am holding on to them in case they fit better when she starts walking and her thighs narrow, but am bummed about still searching for ways to protect her legs now. These rainbow ones also started to pill after one washing on regular cycle, low heat dry.

Great idea but doesn't fit chubby legs
I bought these when my daughter started crawling (around seven months). She was just above the 50% for her height and weight and her legs had the usual baby chubbiness to them. These fit really well for the first month (though a bit long)and worked as promised (there is some slipperiness to them if the baby is on hardwood or vinyl) but pretty soon she started to grow out of them as evidenced by the red marks around her leg where the elastic was. I do recomend this product as they're very cute and the idea is great however I've read that using the tops off of adult socks works just as well... or just have your child wear pants.

Too big for newborns
It is way too big. My son is 6 weeks old and about 11 pounds. He was 23 inches a couple of weeks ago but is definitely taller now. You can see from the picture that it is not really for this age, unless you want them baggy. There is a slight flaw where the color is slightly uneven because of the manufacturing process but is not really noticeable. They are nice otherwise.

really cute idea and really like them, but too small
I'm going to try to return these. They're really cute, but they're too small for my 13 pound baby. I saw similar reviews when I was going to purchase, but I ignored them because the idea of baby leg warmers is so great. I was hoping I found the answer to easy diaper changes and warm baby legs. My baby didn't actually seem like she minded the tight bands, so maybe they don't actually trouble babies--since babies are built differently than kids or adults--little chubby legs. But it troubled me.

Wonderful and fun
These little leg warmers are fabulous. We have all hardwood and tile through our house and even in summer with the AC, the tile can be a bit cool. these made perfect padding, protection and warmth for my little crawler. The only drawback to these is the sizing. I don't believe they will fit older toddlers and preschoolers as the information indicates they should. but they are good for crawling babies!!!

Great for EC and crawling
I resisted getting these for a long time, I didn't understand the point. But NOW I get it. They are great for keeping little legs warm when practicing EC, diaper changing, or crawling on rough surfaces, and more breathable than tights. I have two Baby Legs and two homemade jobbies (my own socks I've cut the feet off of) and the Baby Legs really are better, because they are snug at the top and the bottom, whereas my converted socks are loose on the bottom and saggy where the heels were sewn. These are one-size-fits-all so on a baby with super chunky thighs they could be tight. I have the rainbow and zebra, really cute.

Like it!
Really cute color and good quality. Haven't been able to use it much since it's summertime, but hope it'll come in good use for the summer. The size is good for my 5mo old, and I think it should still fit her when she's 10mo or so. I'm really hoping she'll still be able to use it until she's at least 1yr.

These are so cute and we have gotten so many compliments
These are so cute and we have gotten so many compliments on their rainbow color! Fit a little tight on a 50th percentile 5.5 month old though at the thighs so perhaps not for the chunky babies. Great for babywearing as they don't ride up and expose their ankles and shins!
