Very sturdy case so far. Time will tell regarding its durability. I keep waiting for the spine to either disconnect or fall off. Again, so far so good. I travel frequently and am hard on cases and keep my phones for years, not until the next upgrade comes available. So, I need this case to last just as long as the phone if not longer. It's a bit pricey but I took a chance based on the previous reviews. Again, time will tell regarding its durability. The fact that the pen is enclosed within the spine is a plus considering that with other models, it's on the outside and at greater risk for loss. That is also a bonus.

THE GOOD:The case looks great! I have gotten multiple comments on how it looks so futuristic. It also seems like it may protect the phone well against a fall, though this has not been tested yet.Once it falls a few times, I'll come update this review. After all, I tend to drop phones commonly these days, after a glorious 10 year record of not dropping phones.THE BAD:The case does not FEEL impressive. It feels like a cheap plastic frame that was well molded to look good in pics. The phone creaks against its plastic frame as I hold it. Perhaps this can be fixed using the 24 (not kidding) orange tabs that come with it to put into the frame? I'll install them and update the results in the review update.THE UGLY:The phone case creaks noticeably (especially on the spine/pen compartment piece).The Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 Pen I bought to go into the pen compartment clicks perfectly into the spine bracket, but when its in, the sliding cover does not slide on. It jams up once it gets to the pen. Just BARELY too small! This was so disappointing, I'm tempted to return the case and get another high priced case that will make me feel that it was worth the money. Any metal cases out there? Cause I will happily buy one that is well made and feels good in the hands.

For the price of the phone ,protection was what I wanted ...this case has done just fine ..I am a cluts so I thought I would have dropped it by now but I haven't (knock on wood 😅) I love the feel and the look and that it holds the s pen in place the slider cover for the s pen is loose at time but i make sure to hear that little click to let me know its sealed and has kept my pen in place for me to know where to find it (I don't use it often) I love the hinge protection because I wanted full coverage and for almost $70 bucks on a case I was more concerned with warranty (which if you have this case you don't have) so if you drop it the phone better not have damage but would the case hold up 🤷‍♀️ against the fall (you know that one drop and the hinge break off or the crack where the front part of the case separate In the corner🤣🤣) my luck also the fold edition s pen does NOT come with THIS phone case unless you BUY the galaxy fold 3 case with FOLD EDITION S PEN(the black coverall) I saw where ppl were looking for the s pen to come with case ..nope (neither s -pen fold or pro ) overall this is a good case for my phone!!!!

This case will not fit the s pen pro which is what Samsung recommended for the z fold 3 as any other pen can damage it. See the picture to see how bad it is off. Case is fine in every other way but it was annoying that the pen will not fit which was the primary reason I got this for my wife

I really wanted to love this case but can't. The hinge protector is not a full protector. They listed it as a Semi-Auto Hinge protector. It is held on by 3 plastic straps that bend so the hinge moves with it. If you use the phone a lot the hinge straps pop off from time to time and you have to pop them back on. Also it is hard to remove the S pen from it as sometimes it also pops off the hinge. When the phone is closed a lot of the times the hinge protector is not aligned correctly.The case is very slippery which you can drop. I Dropped it 5 times but didn't break the phone. This is why I gave it 5 stars for durability but 3 stars for Sturdiness.For an expensive case that has semi-auto hinge protector this is not worth it. Spigen cases will beat this case in a heart beat. I returned the case and went back to Spigen.

Honestly this would be a five star review if it weren't for the pen part. This case is nice and chonky and feels like it's actually protecting the phone. You can still charge the phone wirelessly no problem. I bought the Samsung z fold 3 edition s-pen and it fits great inside the little slot that it's supposed to.Where it loses stars is the s-pen slot itself. When I slide it down to pull the pen out, the cover for the pen comes off. There's also not a lot of resistance to pull it down, so it slides down sometimes when I'm using the front screen. I may have gotten a wonky case, but honestly I do love it and would recommend - I just wish the s-pen cover was a little stiffer to pull down and wouldn't detach from the case so easily.

I really like the case for what it does. The case does stay on as long as you use the double sided tape and instructions that come with it. I have dropped it a couple of times and the slide piece has popped off once or twice, and it pops back on just as easy. Perfect size for the S pen compartment holds the pen well and even secure when the slide piece pops off when dropped.
