I was the slickest looking sinner at the baptism. All the pious ladies were blushing when i stepped up to get dunked. Show stoppers for sure. great choice for river baptisms.

Pros: Very comfortable, fit wide feet, quick drying, decent protection, stylish (depending on which style you choose)Cons: slip resistance could be better, rubber soles are thin, so not good for hiking on rocky trails, you will feel rocks.Sizing: True to size or slightly larger. I wear an 11 wide, and ordered an 11. There's about a half an inch between my big toe and the end of the shoe. I like it that way. They seemed bigger out of the box compared to my sneakers, but when I put them on they fit well.I used these shoes in extreme conditions, dragging them across rocky creek beds while tubing in shallow water, rock climbing, hiking, and swimming. After a few days, they have a couple of moss/mold stains from the river rocks, as well as a couple of small holes in the fabric. These are not hundred dollar Vibram shoes. Given what I put them through, they held up very well. If you were to wear them to a water park or as shower shoes, or even to a sandy beach, they would hold up even better. Mine still have plenty of life left in them, and I would highly recommend them either for casual use, or as a slippery disposable substitute for more intense endeavors.

Traditional shoes are bad for your feet. These may heal your numbness and maybe stop the pain. They worked for me. I've been going to doctors for years trying to avoid becoming disabled. Look at regular shoes, notice they are not shaped like your feet. Ask yourself if you hate your feet, because why else would you try walking in the stupid designs provided by the fashion authorities. I wear these things all the time and the nerves in my feet are coming back online without all the pain.

I bought these because we recently went to Xel-ha and Xplor in Cancun and I hated my water shoes and wanted to replace them. I contemplated getting Vibrams because in most situations I'm doing some walking too. I found these and took them to Bass Lake and they were PERFECTION! They fit SO well, they were so comfortable and I got tons of compliments (Which I wasn't expecting for some water shoes). 5 People from my trip asked for the link because they all want some now! Highly recommend.

First impression review:I ordered my normal shoe size and these are so big. There’s at least a 1/2-1 inch from my toe to the tip of the shoe. They are otherwise comfortable. There were delays in shipping and I no longer have time to exchange for a better fit before I need these so I will try to go with the too big shoe and hope it works out.I did take a suggestion from other reviewers to shorten the length of the ties. They are rather long.the soles are very flexible. Have not worn in water yet but will update review after actual use.

Bought these water shoes soley for use while i'm canoeing. Unfortuantely; the days of going "BAREFOOT" While enjoying water, rivers ..aka The Lower Salt River.Unless, you've stepped on a broken GLASS BOTTLE, CUT your foot open needing 8 stiches in the middle of your day. Loads of medical training is the "only" reas on, this could of been extremly worse. So, havent been able to go back in the water yet.Although,they are true to SIZE: I wear a size 13 Wide. The draw-string "allows" you to pull top section tightly.When wet these shoes should work great. For what i purchased them for, the bottom of the shoe seems thick enough to protect your feet when climbing in/out ofmy canoe. I'll defintely be reviewing these again in 3 months.

Great shoe, but purchase two sizes too large for a more comfortable fit. Perfect for walking. The best shoe for us seniors who hate to have our toes smashed. Pull up the shoe string to help give it a tighter fit. Again, buy two sizes too large! My foot fits a size 9, but I purchased a size 11, perfect! My toes need their freedom.

I really enjoy the sole of the shoes. Made it so much easier to walk and not be worried about stopping on rocks of foreign objects. I have really skinny feet for a lot of tightening was required. As far as the size in length, the shoes fit perfect. After I super tightened with the draw string I opened up the string tip and had to cut the excess string away. I like the draining system on the shoes. This way it doesn’t feel like you’re stepping in mini pools each step you take. Bought a pair for my Fiancée and I to use while on a Cenote excursion on a vacation to Mexico and I highly recommend.
