Crayola Dual Ended Erasable Highlighter, Yellow, Pack Of 12-1282509

This was the first erasable highlighter I got many years and are still my favorite. Although the barral design is quite large and not very pocket friendly, the chisel tip is durable and I like how wide it is while still being able to be thin. Other similar highlighters are not as durable as a tip (they break and are then thinner!), and the tip cannot highlight thick enough so need to do 2-3 passes for what this one can do in one. Also, good control over the flow of ink onto paper.If I could change anything about the form of the product, it would be to add a clip for the shirt, make it a little less tall (hopefully a little less expensive per highlighter), and MORE AVAILABLE! Another thing is to change the proportions of erasing ink to highlighting ink, as my first highlighter I continued to use to erase other highlighters for a LONG time after the yellow ink dried up, but then I need 2 markers to do the job of this one.Although I like the availability of other colors, yellow is still the best and should be able to be purchased alone, rather than in a pack with several other colors!

My father gave me this highlighter from his teacher stash when he was teaching elementary school roughly around 7 years ago. He gave it to me still in its original single pack. I used it off and on and used other brands of highlighters though out the time period. I was in my Associates of Culinary Arts and Hospitality management. It sat for a while and I started again with the same highlighter and still very well moist. I am just now noticing the wear of the pad. Still very bright in color but I might have to consider tossing it out after a few more chapters of a home study book. I don't really need 12 counts but for the price it's great! Also knowing with me it has a long life span. This might be passed down to my kids for their school projects.

This product has two uses. You can use it for highlighting that you know you might want to erase, but you can *also* use it to erase highlighting that somebody else did with a different yellow highlighter. I just tried it on a Bic highlighter, and it erased that just as well as it erased its own ink.Once you have erased an area, you cannot highlight it again - the erasing chemical remains in the paper and continues to react with the new highlighter.Most people probably won't care, but note that while the visible yellow is erased, the fluorescent dye is not (see attached picture in visible and UV light - don't mind the smudge, I got some black ink on the eraser part previously).
