And it’s out of the way when I don’t need it, and ready to go in a split second when I do. I’d purchase again, and probably will since it’s a great space saver. Small, lightweight, compact, and works for big fish.I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about, maybe they only fish for Granders- It definitely is stout enough for large fish. I've gaffed multiple (20+) GT, Wahoo, Dogtooth Tuna 15-100+ lbs. Its never failed, never bent, never let me down.Yes- the old calcutta bamboo epoxied was probably better, but this one is compact, stores away, and absolutely works on fish up to 100Lbs coming over the rail of a 32ft CC.

I purchased 2 of these for my mom so she can lower the blinds in the kitchen without having to use stool to stand on haha. And they work, the hooks fit into the tabs on the blinds.
