These pulls come exactly as they're shown. In my opinion it's a perfect design for function. And was cheaper than something similar at Walmart. It fits your finger and thumb perfectly and looks good too! I did have existing chains still hanging and these pulls were easy to attach I simply cut some of the length with scissors easy peasy! If you need to install these from the base you may need some extra length chain just my thoughts.

The ceiling fan pulls themselves are attractive and well-crafted, and I like being able to tell which chain controls the fan and which controls the light. But I have two complaints. There is no way to remove the chains entirely that come with them to attach a new chain; it is necessary to leave at least a short length of the chain that came with if attaching to another chain, say to make the fan chain longer. And problem #2 is that the chains that came with the pulls are not brushed nickel; they are brighter and shinier and therefore do not match the brushed nickel pull with which they came or the brushed nickel fan for which they were bought or the existing brushed nickel chains that I was attempting to lengthen.

These pulls made it quite easy to distinguish which one was for the light and which one was for the fan. Also, the pulls themselves are quite heavy/substantial feeling so they don’t swing around when the fan is on.The chain is silver-colored, but it is actually removable if you wanted to swap it out with a gold/brass-colored extension chain (like I did) to match what you’re attaching it to on your existing fan, or perhaps use a longer chain.

I was tired of the old string pulls on my ceiling fan. I got these and they fit the bill perfectly. They'e heavy and sturdy, making turning the light and fan off and on much easier and predictable. If you've had a string pull snap out of your hand and into the spinning fan, you know what I'm talking about. These don't do that. The antique brass color matches my fan even though it's a different brand. An added benefit that I didn't even think of when buying is that the fan looks much nicer and not so dated anymore. Happy with my purchase.

they are ok quality, heavy and substantial-feeling but the pictures are too small to easily see which is which, especially when you haven't turned on the light yet. i bought different pulls which are in the shape of a fan and light bulb and those are so much easier to tell apart, even in poor light.

I chose these because I had one of them on a fan when we purchased our home. One was missing. I liked the look of these. They didn’t look cheap and flimsy. I went ahead and replaced both since I couldn’t buy them separately. These are a nice weight and length. Doesn’t stick out in our room decor which was a concern with some other choices. Easy to reach over foot of bed to pull these

I moved into an apartment where the previous tenant had cut all the fan chains to be difficult for her child to reach. I thought that I would need to buy extra chain and a pull for my fans, but I found this product and it was perfect. The length of chain was enough that they would not hang down too low, but also I didn't need to purchase chain AND a pull. The pulls are attractive and do not distract from the rest of the room, but they are also substantive enough that I can find them and pull them in the dark or without really even looking.Great product--I would buy again!

I bought a new fan for our guest bedroom, and was annoyed when I saw the hardware that came with it for the light and fan pull. These pull chains make the fan look so much nicer and better quality than the plastic ones that came with them. They were easy to install, and I actually bought a 2nd set for another fan in our living room! Great product!
