Held up to wind and sleet.
Instead of Black Friday shopping, my son and I hiked up to a mountain lake where my son used the tarp for the first time. It was a great campout. The tarp worked great and my son loves it. Gives plenty of coverage for his hammock. We had 40mph wind gusts and the tarp held up perfectly and did a great job of blocking the wind.We live in Ketchikan, Alaska and hiked the Perseverance Lake Trail. 2.5 miles up.The tarp is made well and light. Easy to set up. My advice is to inspect it prior to using it as with any camping product you buy. This hammock was ready to go.

This tarp works well with my hammock
I am very pleased with this Camp is Easy tarp because the shape and size that is great for my hammock. The length along the ridge line covers the hammock and the shape allows for spacious but complete coverage when tied down. It was almost too-long. The stakes that came with the tarp are sturdy and functional, and I like the tie-down hooking slots on all sides so you don't have to fiddle with the right 'face' when putting in the stakes. The included rope and tighteners look good, but I used my para-cord set up with a continuous ridge-line and tighteners so I can't comment on the ropes and tighteners. With my short time under the tarp I could feel the silver coating holding in the heat as the sun went down, so that is a plus. I have not used this in the rain yet, but I am confident it will provide good coverage, especially with a closer to ground set upUpdate 10/11/2017. I set this up one day mid summer over my go-to hammock and left it up for over a month. High elevation sun (Colorado springs), rain, BIG wind, hail, and it held up great. No rips, no tears, no seams coming apart, bird poop wiped right off. And the color did not fade! I just love this tarp.

Center is weak and has a hole.
Bought this on 2017. First time setting it up 2023. Center seam has hole and weakness. Not good. It is 4.21.2023. Looking on the bright side it is good for shade. :)

There are better options, but the price to quality is acceptable
Appearance: The tarp appears to be made of decent materials. The seams are sewn well and the ridgeline is seam taped. The tie outs could have been secured a little better. They are sewn on securely, it just looks sloppy.Setup: the tarp sets up quick and easy. The cat cuts or curved cuts really let you pull this tarp good and tight. I've noticed very little to no sag in the mornings. The cordage is of acceptable quality and is not overly bulky or heavy. I did find the sides to be a little short. If the weather really got bad and I needed to get the bottom corners down on the ground, I'm afraid my hammock would touch the ground if I got into it. This is largely due to the cat cuts. They are probably a little deeper than they need to be.Overall quality: if you shop around there are a few better tarps out there in this price range. If your a casual fair weather hammock camper you should be pleased with this tarp. If your a die hard hiker/camper then this tarp lacks a few amenities such as pockets to stuff the cordage, side tie outs, extra tie out points on the peremeter , no decent stuff sack and it's a little on the heavy/bulky side. It looks to be relatively well made, if only a little sloppy in places, and has held up in brief exposure to 15-20 mph winds. It covers my Warbonnet Blackbird XLC with room to spare at the peaks. I have not tested it in a driving rain but I feel like it would hold up. I did camp in some heavy fog/dew and had zero drips or absorption through to the inside of the tarp.Modifications: the only thing I did to this tarp was add shock cord to the tie outs and add a snake skin. This lets me pull the cords tight and if the regular cords stretch or the tarp stretches in the night, the shock cord keeps tension on the tarp. I am looking at adding no-sew side pull outs via adhesives. Even pulling the sides out just a few inches can make all the difference under the tarp when it comes to getting in and out of the hammock. Especially if you have it tied down close and steep for foul weather. Buy or make a new stuff sack. The included bag barely holds my tarp, the suspension, and the snake skins.Pros:-The price point-Overall quality is acceptable-Easy to set up and ties out taught-Easily the largest (longest) hex tent in this price range on Amazon-Ridgeline is seam tapedCons:-the bag it comes in is not a good stuff sack-Solid stitching on the tie outs, just a bit sloppy-I found the sides to be a tad short for my preferences-Only seems to come in bright blue. What if I want to camp stealthily?-It's a tad heavy and bulky to pack.Overall I rate this 4 out of 5 only because of some minor sloppiness and the lack of a few amenities. I would highly recommend this for the casual camper. It's hard to find an affordable tarp made well enough and large enough for reliable camping and this one fits the bill well enough to get you started and keep you dry.

Good Product for the Price
Purchased this tarp for a my son for a backpacking trip on the North River Trail in Michigan. We had little to moderate rain and he remained dry. The tarp definitely provides better coverage than the Eno fly which my other son was using. For one night, we stacked two people under this tarp but it ended up not raining that night. The tarp seems durable and very well worth the investment at that price point.A couple improvements: the cords are dark and blend into the surrounding environment. To better avoid tripping over the cords, it'd be ideal to have reflective or colorful cords. Additionally, there is an excess of cords which can be a blessing or a curse. They give you more than you'll probably be need.Customer service was great. When I got my tarp, I was missing the 4 stakes that hold it down. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to get new ones in time for the trip and it wasn't until we returned from our trip that I contacted the company. They responded quickly to me. I was hoping that they'd send me stakes right away. Instead, they sent me a entire kit. I will probably need to buy more tarps in the future for other members of my family and will give my service to Gil and his team!

Definitely not easy set up
Here's the thing, I first used this (set it up) while it was raining. We got to our camp site and I had no choice but to let my things get drenched, sit in the car with my things, or set up in the rain. So I went for it. The ties are EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I had a 1000% horrible time. I am not an unintelligent person, And I had a hard time getting this thing to work out. I don't mind the actual tarp part, but I will be purchasing new bungees/ties to use from now on. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you are looking for quick and easy.
