I had this great idea, and was able to implement it with these little sticky metal pieces! If you have an old kitchen with ugly cabinets anyway, this might be a good idea for you... I stuck these to the kitchen cabinets and then used some of those cool magnets to hold up printed recipes while mixing stuff together. My refrigerator is the only metal object in my kitchen to attach a magnet to, and now I have magnetic cabinets too! I stick up recipes, pictures, lists, etc. Love that these are perfect for my invented application for them!

I use these metal plates as an attachment to my phone case to be used with a magnetic mount inside my vehicle but it has many other uses as well. I'm reviewing it with the intent of my own purpose as a magnetic phone mount plate... so, if you're looking for a magnetic phone mount plate for your phone, this is great!-Adhesion, 5/5: What more can I say? It sticks and it's a 3M adhesive which is pretty reliable.-Sturdiness, 5/5: I've definitely come across "soft" metal plates before that would snap easily, these are a lot stronger despite how thin they are.-Thickness, 5/5: They're really thin and thin enough where it can fit between a phone case and phone where it doesn't bulge out noticeably which is great!If you plan to use this to attach to your phone to use on a magnetic mount, keep in mind this is only good enough for phones with slim phone cases. If you have a heavy duty phone case of a leather case, this metal plate isn't strong enough!

Okay, earlier this year, I got one of those hands-free magnetic air-vent holders as a gift to use with my phone so that I would have my hands free to drive. Fair enough. I'm all for that.Now, when I got this, it came with a couple of magnetic strips to be attached to my phone so that my new mag holder would be able to, y'know, hold on to it while I was driving.Maybe the set that came with it was defective or something. They never worked right and would not hold my phone in place because they kept sliding off of the phone case. TBH, they never actually got an adequate grip on the case because they were not of the right size to properly hold it and stay put.Hopefully, this second set that I got will work? Well, time will tell.
