I liked this book, and this sort of book as a concept.The next time you see formerly dressed musicians playing revered posh classical music, you can see the crazy putting rock'n'rollers-to-shame antics the great classical composers used to get up to.An enjoyable book.

Interesting and often amusing read though some(but far from all) facts and stories are wrong or generally believed to be apocryphal. I liked it nevertheless.

I received this book today, couldn't wait to get it. As a music fanatic I love to learn new things about composers, this book truly is amazing, the facts about each composer are well just amazing things that not everyone knows, for example "when Berlioz learned that his true love planned to marry another man, he disguised himself as a woman grabbed two pistols and set out to commit a murder". I love this book. 5 out of 5. So happy
