Great!
This worked so great for my anxious puppy. He loved the music right away and it kept him calm when it was bed time. He usually cries for awhile and I have to rub his head to fall asleep. Now he falls to sleep right away and doesn’t cry at all. Worth the money!

Buy PetTunes instead
I initially purchased Pet Tunes from Chewy, but when a series of FedEx mistakes made it clear that I wouldn’t receive it by the day I was picking up my new puppy, I hopped onto Amazon and looked for any calming music set-up that had next-day delivery. Even though iCalmDog was 50% more expensive than Pet Tunes, it was worth it just to have something on hand when my pup came home. It was relatively easy to set up, and the piano music it played was nice and relaxing for me, too.For 30 days, it was fine. I had it set to a low volume, plugged in, and it played 24/7. I can’t say for certain whether it calmed my puppy, since he was never here without the music, but it did provide some nice background so the other sounds of living in an apartment weren’t too much for him while I was at work each day. But one evening around day 30, I heard an odd sound. I paused the TV, walked over to the speaker, and could clearly hear a man speaking. Fortunately, it was one of those monotone DJs from what was apparently a classical music station, but still, it was odd. I messed around with the speaker for a bit, and I finally got it back to the pre-loaded piano music, but that didn’t last even 24 hours. It was back to the classical music DJ when I came home from work the next day. And I haven’t had any luck getting the piano music back since then.Fortunately FedEx eventually learned how to do their job and delivered my Pet Tunes order. I meant to return it, but Chewy did their usual, “We’ve refunded you. Keep or donate it, don’t send it back,” spiel. So finally I went ahead and unboxed Pet Tunes, plugged it in, turned it on, and we’re good to go. We’re back to really pretty, relaxing music with surprisingly better sound quality. Maybe someday I’ll get iCalmDog back to working correctly again, but it doesn’t really matter at this point. The fact is that iCalmDog costs way more than PetTunes, is more difficult to set up, has worse sound quality, and didn’t work out for very long.

Great Buy—iCalmDog 5.0b Bluetooth Speaker
I really like the iCalm dog speaker. My dog is going through separation anxiety now that we are not on “Covid Lockdown”. I already can see it starting to help. They provide instructions to help you gradually introduce the music to be the most productive in calming your dog. The sound is good and the music is classical piano that is very soothing. They also have other chips you can purchase to change it up, or for other issues your pet might be dealing with. My cat seems to like the music as well, so that’s a plus. By the way, it’s very easy to set up in case anyone else is “technically challenged” with electronics like I am. :) I highly recommend this purchase.

It works!!!
Update: It worked for her a couple of times. A dog with less severe anxiety might get more relief from it. After pills and all the destruction it is an absolute relief to find this. We bought it with a covered kennel lined with a dog proof flat bed and a dog proof round walled bed inside the kennel. We give her cbd oil and start the music. This combination gives us all a good night’s sleep as well as our sweet chihuahua mix even during the worst thunderstorms now. I wish we could have found it all years ago. The entire family loves the music. I’ve caught the kids playing it by choice just because it’s so soothing.

Sleeping, not barking
The media could not be loaded. The music is pretty piano music. The charge lasts for days, but I keep mine plugged in all the time now. I’m sure you could just Bluetooth calming music into speakers for the same effect. It calms our whole household!
