Don’t buy aftermarket, buy this OE sensor!!
For some reason Amazon says this does not fit the 2003 LS430, but it is the correct factory part number, and it is direct plug and play fitment. Don’t bother looking at the cheap aftermarket $10 sensors, even though they say they fit, the connector is actually a different style (don’t ask me how I know). This is the one you want for sure. And this is the genuine part at LESS THAN HALF the cost that I was quoted at the dealer. If you’re hunting an intermittent stumble at idle, replacing the coolant temp sensor with this OE unit is a great place to start, especially on a vehicle with over 100k miles. This sensor DOES NOT come with a crush washer, so be sure to order one separately (or you can order an assortment for all of your automotive endeavors). You’ll want a crush washer with an inside diameter of 12mm and outside diameter of 18mm.

so far so good!
replacement for my 1998 lexus gs300. Obviously out of the package it doesn’t look as sturdy as the OEM part that came in my car but it’s doing it’s job just fine and I haven’t had any issues! Solid Part !

2005 Lexus LS430
Correct part for the 2005 LS430. Replaced at 100k miles along with O2 sensors. 19mm deep socket fit right over the wire harness. I performed the replacement on level ground and a cold engine and didn't spill a drop. Quick job. Car idles more decisively during warm-up period. Reset the ECU and give the computer a few drive cycles to adapt to receiving accurate temperature data again.
