Godinger Cocktail Shaker, Martini Shaker, Italian Made Glass Bar Shaker, 562ml

I have used plastic and stainless steel shakers for years. I needed a new one and this one is GREAT. It’s bigger than the average so you able to make more drinks. It does not leak and the top comes off easily. I will say to make sure your hands are dry so it doesn’t slip. It felt big at first but now that I have a feeling for it I’m able to mix drinks easily. I always hold the top while shaking so I have had no issues with it spraying across the kitchen, I’m not sure why someone would shake it without holding the top down🤷🏽‍♀️. Saw that on one review so I just wanted to address that concern. For the price it is great and I love seeing what’s in the shaker. I would definitely buy again if needed.

Es un excelente vaso mezclador, de buen tamaño y ergonómico para una mejor sujeción en el momento de preparar los cocteles, no guarda olores y es de fácil lavado. Muy buen producto, altamente recomendable.

Being a martini addict I have a lot of shakers, and this is now my official fave. Thick glass, easy lid that actually comes off without dynamite .. easy to clean, it's a keeper !

I’m not a professional bartender (but hubby was, during his up-and-coming years, while at Uni and while taking flying lessons to become a professional pilot)…we LOVE this cocktail shaker!! Just bought a second, to have as a backup. Unsure about the issues others have had, with stuck lids (as is typical with SS shakers, particularly if using sticky ingredients, such as simple syrup and some fruit juices), and the like…haven’t experienced that whatsoever, with either of the two!! Appreciate that it’s made in Italy, NOT China (as other reviewers have mentioned). Anyhow, the glass is sturdy, looks classy, shakes like a dream, keeps the ingredients cold (somehow, if trying to multi-task, which despite everything the media tells us, humans just aren’t good at doing), and our cocktails come out beautifully - every time! LOVE that it can be “tossed” in the dishwasher (though, truth be told - also do this with the SS ones we own, too - we have one whose lid has been STUCK for no less than 10 years - NO MATTER WHAT we do, and how many times it’s been washed in VERY HOT, even soaked in BOILING water…). :o) Can’t really stir drinks in this, but you can do that in any ol’ pint glass, cantcha? Shake all your cocktails that use citrus!! For the home bartender who wants a nice-looking, reliable, effective shaker, GET THIS - at least try it. You can still have a pint glass/tin setup, as well!
