Good, no hassle trying to sort something out in France
It's a little expensive I paid the extra so no to have hassle finding the right package in France with enough data for my trip, which crossed into Belgium and Germany. I need data for the map guidance in my car. I didn't run out of data and everything work just fine but it is super expensive. No as bad as being overcharged for use from uk provider so I still win.

Register fast, and check account status fast
Much cheaper than using home mobile to access emails etc while abroad. In my phone, I set it up as a WiFi hotspot, then transferred it to my Huawei hub to allow laptop / tablet usage. In the phone, I can receive calls on French phone no.Things to know: 1, Take along a scan of ID / passport so that registration can be done at once. Registration takes one working day, so if you register Friday evening, it won't be completed before Tuesday. 2, Immediately dial #123# from phone to check account status. I wish I'd known at once that my 20 GB purchased was actually 30 GB.

AWFUL PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU NEED THIS CARD PAST 14 DAYS!!!
ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE.DO NOT BUY THIS SIM IF YOU FIT INTO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORY.You need to use the SIM for more than 14 days. You need to register the SIM if you need to use it past 14 days and if you don’t have a passport from the following countries, you will NOT be able to register it.The list of countries you need to be from to be able to register your SIM are: France, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Irland (their spelling), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. IF YOUR PASSPORT IS FROM SOMEWHERE ‘OTHER’ THAN HERE, YOU CANNOT REGISTER YOUR SIM.When you select OTHER, because you are not from the above countries, the website does not recognise your passport as being valid. You like the option of having customer service if something goes wrong.By email I have contacted Orange Support, (it is impossible to speak to a person), and after repeated times explaining the problem and sending screen shots, 14 days has expired and so now I have no access to the internet. They finally escalated the problem to their ‘technical team’, but it is TOO LATE.This is a very very expensive SIM for 14 days. A waste of money. My advice, buy a different product.

Purchased in Orange store, France. Don't buy this product
I purchased the Orange holiday Europe prepaid SIM in a store in Brittany. 40Euro. It never worked.I made repeated phone calls and emails, no replies. Went back to the Orange store when returning from my holiday. Didn't want to know. I gave him the SIM so he could see it had no use. The manager asked what I wanted. Also suggested that one of us was lying......and it wasn't him. I requested my money back for a product that clearly hadn't worked. With that he "went all French" on me. Sudden lack of understanding English, and my poor French, lots of "Shrugging" There's no solution to this sort of treatment. In hindsight I should have read the badly sellotaped sign on the desk which, roughly translated, said we will not tolerate rude language and behaviour towards our staff. I like to think of myself as a pleasant retired eloquent businessman with years of customer facing experience. I know such make-shift signs only get displayed where bad staff and service prevail. All my attempts, calls, text and emails have been ignored. Do not waste your money and time with Orange.

Worked perfectly in an unlocked phone in Italy and Austria
We needed phone/data access while on a trip to Italy and Austria. We could have used the AT&T International Roaming service, but at $10 a day for each of our two locked phones it would have been very expensive. Fortunately we had a spare unlocked phone available so went with this SIM card. Note, you MUST have an unlocked phone in order to use this SIM card, a locked phone will not work with it.It would have been possible to buy a SIM card upon arrival in Italy, and perhaps save some money, but we didn't know where to buy one and would have needed GPS to get to a store if we could have located one. Both the search and navigation to the store would have needed data service anyway, so the easiest solution was to just buy the card up before we left the US.I installed the card into the unlocked and powered down phone prior to leaving the US. Upon arrival in Italy I powered on the phone and it immediately connected to the local service. We were not staying beyond 14 days so I did not need to activate/register service prior to use - it just worked ! I read that service can be extended beyond 14 days, and "topped up", but for that you have to register the card. As we weren't staying that long I never had reason to test it.The phone number assigned is based in France, so calling/texting anywhere outside of France required the country code in addition to the number you called. Not a big deal, there are no surprise charges or fees for calling a number in Italy or Austria. This SIM card only works in Europe, and only allows for calls within Europe - no calling to the US. We did have a need to stay in touch with family back in the US, and rather than having them call the French number and thus incurring high costs on their phones, we came up with a simple and cost effective solution. Our AT&T service allows for wireless calling, so we set up wireless calling on our two AT&T phones then set up Hot Spot / Tethering on the unlocked phone. When away from free wifi service, connecting the two locked US phones to the unlocked Hot Spot phone allowed us to make and receive free calls and texts to/from the US as needed. We bought the 20GB plan, which was total overkill for the two weeks we were there. We used the phone constantly, for GPS, web surfing, translating menus/signs/etc from Italian/German to English, as well as the hot spot usage and we used less than 5GB of data. We didn't use the service for bandwidth hogs such as movies which perhaps accounted for the low data usage.I am happy with this SIM card, it worked exactly as expected.

Worked perfectly in Ireland and France.
Bought this to be ready right off the plane. I had already converted my regular SIM to ESIM on my phone to make room for the physical Orange Sim card. Upon arrival in EU, I inserted the orange card, entered the supplied info and got my France number immediately ( it was in the package also). Before the end of your 14 days term you can top up and the remaining time/gigs will be added to your new balance. You don’t need to register your name with number, if less than a month use. The EU laws require anyone with over a month to register the number. Simple , convenient and same price as if buying in Europe. Comes with all size adapter Sim card. Make the Euro number Primary in your setting and only leave Voice/Text for your regular number to avoid home carrier roaming charge ( you can turn it off too, I didn’t ) . Back home now and it worked great during the whole trip and provided me with a hotspot for my wife to log in if needed. You can set it up on the day before you leave but the minute you activate it, the days start counting ( 14 days ). If not technically inclined a savy techno friend can set it up for you. It comes with everything you need including the pin tool to open SIM access door and small SIM storage pouch.
