i was kind of curious what a spin-off gag manga for BSD would be like, seeing as the original series is pretty silly in of itself. after reading wan, the original feels like a serial drama... it's certainly got a lighter atmosphere, which is MUCH appreciated thanks to the nature of the original. people joke that it's therapy for reading the main series. overall: it's a lot of light-hearted fun!wan is also surprisingly background character heavy?? my girl higuchi has SO many appearances. i'm so happy right now. higuchi ichiyō fans arise, we are being FED
