I bought this shirt because my work said they wanted to have a Caribbean themed BBQ and asked everyone to wear Hawaiian shirts. I am a big guy and nervous about ordering clothes without trying them on, but the sizing chart that La Leela has made the decision very easy. I wear a 4X but sometimes get a 5X for added comfort. I have broad shoulders so I bought this shirt in a 5X. The shirt fits great and the colors are vibrant! If I had gotten a 4X then I think the shoulder area across the back may be a bit tight, so I am glad I went with the 5X. The attention to detail with the stitching is top notch. As you see in the product picture, the pattern on the pocket seamlessly lines up with the rest of the front of the shirt. The shirt I received was made the same. As far as shipping goes - the shirt arrived a day early! It looked like it was shipped USPS via UPS, but UPS dropped it off at my door a day early. It may be because I had another package being delivered one that day so UPS didn't see a reason to hand it off to USPS for delivery. I can't wait to show it off at the BBQ next week!

How could you not love this shirt? The colors are extremely vibrant and command to be noticed. Very comfortable to wear for whatever occasion. I'm 6-5 and 300 pounds and normally wear a 5XLT shirt. I ordered the 4XL shirts and they have a most excellent fit. Maybe even a little on the large size so I ordered a 3XL shirt. It fit very well but the 4XL had that extra room that us big guys greatly appreciate. I have worn that BIG NAME BRAND Hawaiian shirt for many, many years and found the La Leela shirts to be far superior in comfort, quality, material, color, and price. I have received a tremendous amount of compliments on these shirts even from complete strangers. I now have 8 of these beautiful shirts and La Leela has acquired an extremely satisfied customer for life. Thank you so much La Leela for recognizing that not all of us are of "normal" size.

I'm a big fan of Hawaiian shirts and own quite a few in different cuts and materials, and although Theres a lot to like about this shirt there were a couple of things that would consign this shirt to the back of my closet. First off the design Looks great and the fact that it's on a black shirt gives it an edge that really stands out. If Johnny cash wore an Hawaiian shirt this would be the one. The material is light, silky and doesn't seem to hold onto creases. It is however incredibly hard to button. It's a generous cut, buttons up to the collar and has side vents to help movement. On the downside the fabric doesn't breathe, so your going to sweat some particularly If you live in a humid climate. Thankfully this fabric doesn't hold onto moisture so there's little chance of looking like you forgot antiperspirant. While I'm ok with the generous cut the one thing I couldn't get past is the width of the sleeves which apart from looking big, doesn't contour to the arms so they stick out and look very boxy. It started too bug me immediately which is a sign that it would continually bug me. For the price this is a great purchase but the lack of breath ability, the sleeve shape and the buttons makes it a return for me.

This shirt is made from some lightweight, smooth-textured textile which is almost weightless, extremely comfortable next to my skin and breathes very well. This will be one of my Florida shirts from now on and I will be looking to buy others like it in different colors.The shirt is a vibrant blue which has drawn (mostly) positive comment - there are always the office cynics who have to rain on anyone's parade but screw them. I have vowed to ditch the IT standard golf shirt for more colorful Hawaiian shirts and this one is going into weekly rotation.I love it. I recommend it to all Hawaiian shirt fans.Runs a little large. I have a 44 waist and am shaped like a brandy bottle, and this XXL shirt is a roomy fit. I could possibly come down a size but I rather prefer a "bell tent" fit in my shirts.

I bought two of these shirts and the sizes were both the same but the fits were different. Both were very generous in size, and many people could order a size down and be OK. But in my case one of the shirts was much shorter in the body than the other. Speaks to poor quality control. In the Amazon ad, it said they were machine washable and dryable. When I got them the labels said not to put them in the dryer. I contacted the company thru Amazon and they assured me they are machine-dryable and that the label was wrong. I’ve now dried them in the dryer many times and they do fine and look good with minimal care. The patterns are beautiful and a bit different than you find in the stores. They are very light and comfortable and I get many complements on them. Just understand that you might find some inconsistency between shirts and they are sized on the large side.

First, let me say that I love the colors and material. It's exactly what I had in mind when I started searching for "Hawaiian shirt".Reviews of these shirts have been all over the place in terms of size. However, I have no complaints. I wear an XXL normally, I ordered an XXL, and while the shirt is very loose around my body, I like loose. The shoulders and the sleeves are right, so I'm pretty sure it is just the cut of the shirt. I often purchase a "tall" size when I order t-shirts because too many of them are too short for me. If I had to tuck this in, I might want it ~slightly~ longer, but just hanging it is great.

I bought this for my husband to were on our 10th anniversary. We got married on Disney's Castaway Cay in this very spot. So I wanted more then just our bathing suits, but not fancy clothes. This shirt was perfect!

Size guide is way off. This shirt was massive and material is the same as a novelty Hawaiian short I bought for less than £5. Far too expensive for the cheap material

I bought a similar shirt in Barbados about 10 years ago so was really pleased when I saw this one. It is a good fit and I love the coolness of the material on my skin. I have sensitive skin and find these shirts fit the bill. Can't wait for the warmer weather so I can wear outside in the garden. I will definitely be buying more.

A lovely quality shirt but I ordered one size larger think it would be skimpy on my rotund husband. I've had to order a smaller size as they are so generous! Looks great on.
