Quality Item and TLC in Packaging (Potato Masher)
When I was a kid, this was the shape and material of the masher my parents used to have. Nowadays the mashers all have a different shape than this and are made out of material other than wood, so I was really happy to find one just like I remembered for sale.The product came in some very nice packaging, with a "Made with Love" sticker and a bonus item (I'm not sure what it is but it looks nice). I really appreciate these two extra touches and I am more than satisfied with this purchase; everything I wanted and more.

Wear gloves
The long wood handle is full of splinters! The wood is so rough and full of small gouges that you will need to to sand it well before using if you decide to keep it. Be careful removing it from packaging - when i picked it up i immediately got several large wood splinters in my hand. If you buy it be sure to wear gloves before sanding it. Not a finished product. I would not want to use this with food.
