Very nice scrub- some considerations
If you are looking for a multitasker that offers both chemical and physical exfoliation, this is a great choice. Alumina crystals are far better on your skin than the good ol' St. Ives Apricot scrub. Now 10% glycolic acid content may be a little on the low side for "power users" of acids, peels, etc. but it's a good ratio for most users and I found it to be an effective addition to my lineup. It does have fragrance in it, which I didn't like BUT since this a product you wash away, it's not a deal-breaker for me.As far as the price? I always maintain that for a product that washes away and doesn't sit on your skin, you can go on the cheaper side for a good wash and still get great results. It's the skincare that you apply that stays on your face for hours that you should invest the most in if you are on a budget. But if this fits in your budget, it's a great scrub and I enjoyed it.INGREDIENTS: Active: Glycolic Acid.Inactive: Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycolic Acid, Alumina, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Glycerin, Isononyl Isononanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Glyceryl Stearate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, Lactobionic Acid, Polyacrylate-1 Crosspolymer, PEG-100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, PEG-75 Stearate, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Menthol, Menthyl Lactate, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance).

This leaves my face feeling amazing
I've been trying out different face products lately, and the one thing I'd forgotten about until more recently were face scrubs. I used to use them a few times a week, but I stopped because they were always a bit too abrasive for me (and I would use the "good" stuff - I just have sensitive skin). This Neostrata face polish leaves my face feeling incredibly smooth and soft every time I use it. I only use it once a week, sometimes only once every 2 weeks (mostly because I forget). But I feel like it's made a difference in how even my skin looks. I have some dry spots that get a little worse throughout the year, especially during dry climates. I mainly notice when I apply my makeup and I have weird smudged areas. My face feels pretty smooth for a few days after, even though I have drier skin now that I've gotten older. This polish also doesn't feel rough on my face, which is very important considering I do have more sensitive skin. The thicker polishes just don't work for me and just scratch my face. But these are so fine, and I only apply a very small amount, which goes a long way. I use a soft small towel to clean my face with warm water. Because of how little I use, this tube is going to last me a while! One thing to note is that you want to be careful about sun exposure. So make sure to not be too exposed when using this and wear a daily sunscreen!

Wow... This is amazing.
I am a skeptic of skin care products, full disclosure. I used to work for Clinique and Aveda years ago (admittedly long before skin technology of today), and while I loved their products (especially hair from Aveda and makeup from Clinique), I never saw huge results from the skin care. THIS though... mercy. I saw and felt results immediately. And this product is not for sensitive skin by the way. My skin can tolerate just about anything, but after using this product, it looked and felt like it had really just received an exfoliating treatment.HOW TO USE: After cleansing (this is NOT a cleanser), take a small amount of product and in a gentle circular motion, rub around your face avoiding the eye area. This is both a physical scrub (you can feel the small crystals in the product) and a chemical exfoliant. After physically rubbing the crystals on your face for 30 seconds, allow it to remain there for up to two minutes, then rinse off. Follow with your moisturizer. Be sure to do that - you'll want to. Use this up to 3x per week. Directions do say to wear sunscreen after using. It is truly amazing what this does - I really did not expect to be as impressed as I am with this, but here I am. VERY recommended if your skin is not sensitive!!! ~Amy

Expensive But Effective, Though Be Cautious with Sensitive Skin
This is a mix of both chemical and abrasion exfoliator, meant for occasional use, developed by the dermatologist-founded, New Jersey-based skincare company. Neostrata's website advises use "two to three times a week," but if you have even slightly sensitive skin, I'd suggest once a week, at most, as well as a patch test before using on your face. You rub this on clean, damp skin in gentle circles and then leave on for two minutes before rinsing clean—though for a first time out you might want to go a bit shorter to test your skin's sensitivity. Because this is quite gritty, rinsing is easiest to do completely in the shower, so I put this on before I got in. Also be aware that while you should always be wearing daily sunscreen—as it's the best anti-aging step you can take—that is doubly true when using any sort of AHA peel product, as it makes skin more susceptible to UV damage. Also be careful not to use this with other products, like peels or night treatements, that contain AHAs, or you could damage your skin. This has a fairly high AHA concentration, with Glycolic Acid its second ingredient, and my skin was pretty red, fading to pink in a couple hours, so the sort of treatment I'd use only when I don't plan on needing to be anywhere that day. Skin was very soft and smooth and just soaked up product after use. I followed up with a facial oil and Hyaluronic Acid serum, then applied a night cream-level moisturizer once those sunk in.Neostrata says that in addition to exfoliating for smoother, brighter skin, this also "normalizes the skin’s exfoliation process, refines the appearance of pore size, helps visibly fade discolorations to even skin tone and smooths the look of fine lines and wrinkles as it re-texturizes skin."Not sure about all that, but 24 hours after use my skin did still look glowy and it had a very at-home facial feel. Expensive, but seems to be effective, too.

I love it
I love this product and I am very grateful for it! I have very sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts and dryness and I have struggled to find a thick, hydrating night moisturizer that does not cause issues for me. I started out with the mini size, loved it... purchased a full size and have been using it for about 1-2 months and was SURE to purchase abackup during the sale. This product will last a while but I did not want to run the risk of running out. Now, for claims. Hydration. YUP. I use a thin layer of this overnight as a night moisturizer and wake up to hydrated but not greasy. I think some folks may be running into issues applying this like a MASK (big thick layer). You truly only need a thin layer to get beautiful hydration. Plump. I never really know what this is supposed to mean and I feel it goes hand in hand with hydration. Brightening. This isalways hard to evaluate however I do struggle withhyperpigmentation caused by hormonal breakouts and I find that that hyperpigmentation has been fading on a quicker timeline since I have begun using this so I will say that even though I think it is very hard to evaluate a claim like "brightens" I do feel like those dark spots are responding well to the vitamin C in this product. Clean. Everyone's skin is different and sensitive skin is a fickle beast. This has NOT caused issues for me with sensitivity, breakouts, allergic reactions.
