This would be a perfect wedding or anniversary gift. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and one of the concerns revolved around shipping. They have corrected that, I believe. The sign was covered with paper towel to protect it - I will tell you that it stuck a little but it's only paper towel and easily removed. This is up on our wall already and we love it! It is natural wood, so don't expect a "perfect" piece but they did a great job finding a piece as close to oerfect as they come. I'm very impressed with this, and will definitely gift one when I have the opportunity
