Small, Bright, and Durable Little Light
I was looking for a small EDC light that offered a range of brightness settings, and did not require USB charging. I'd rather carry a few batteries that I can swap out quickly, vs having to wait for a recharge cycle. I also got excited about the separate on/off and light level buttons. It's much easier to adjust on the fly without having to change your grip on the light. The T2 was the perfect option. It's a bit bigger than most "pen lights" because it uses AA and not AAA batteries. I think this is a great choice by Wuben, as it allows for a much brighter light. The cool thing is this also has a "moonlight" setting that saves the batteries, and your retinas, if you only need a dim light in the tent, while on a walk, or looking for something in the kids' room while they're sleeping. As far as durability, the light is built like a tank. It's hard to believe that Wuben offers such a hefty frame at this price point. I expected it to be more of a lightweight construction, but it's not. It's a light I'd trust even if it was rattling around in a tool box for a year.Overall, I can't recommend the T2 enough. It's not expensive, features a wide range of light levels, and takes readily available AA batteries. The build quality is outstanding for what you pay. If you need an EDC workhorse, seriopusly consider the T2. Well done Wuben.

Good EDC Penlight
I recently purchased the WUBEN T2 Pen Flashlight as a convenient everyday carry (EDC) light. The 550 lumens seem accurate - the flashlight delivers a bright beam that's perfect for illuminating dark paths or searching for something around the house. It met my expectations for brightness in a penlight. With the side switch, cycling through the standard light modes (high, medium, low, moon) is a breeze. However, there is a bit of a learning curve for the special modes like strobe, which require memorizing a specific button sequence. While I haven't deliberately tested it, the flashlight has survived a few accidental drops during nighttime walks with my dog without any damage. This gives me confidence in its durability for everyday use.The T2 runs on regular AA batteries, which is a plus for convenience. I've been using the flashlight for a few months with regular walks at night, and I haven't needed to replace the batteries yet. This suggests good battery life for everyday use. The size and weight make it very easy to carry around every day. It clips securely to a pocket or backpack strap. However, it's important to note that it's on the larger side for a typical penlight.Overall, I'd definitely recommend the WUBEN T2. It's bright, easy to use (with a slight learning curve for special modes), and seems quite durable. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable EDC light with more power than a keychain flashlight. However, if you prioritize absolute compactness, there might be better options for you.

Good Medic light
OK, compared to the Thrunite Archer 2A V3 the overall "brightness" fails. I do like the lowest setting if a MEDIC should need a penlight, or tactically lower light. This WUBEN is about $10 cheaper. My previous favorite was the Olight T25 (I don't think they make it anymore). I pictured them all next to a pen. The WUBEN is the heaviest, but has the most aggressive grip. I'd stick with the Archer, but haven't checked out the new Nitecore (waiting for a sale) .

Wuben T2 - Great EDC Tactical Light
Wuben T2 Light comes nicely packaged with Specs on the outside of the box. It uses 2 AA Batteries which are included with the light. To activate, you unscrew the tail cap. Then remove the Blue plastic piece, which keeps the light from working. (I saved it, just in case I wish to use it again.). It includes a lanyard. But I don’t personally use one on any of my lights. The light has a Tail Cap Button, which turns the light on and off. The button is protected from accidental activation by a raised tabs on either side of the Switch. I like this feature since I usually carry my lights in a pocket or tool bag. There’s a side button which allows you to toggle the light to 4 different brightness levels. It also has a Strobe feature included as well. The various beam patterns should be very functional for many daily carry activities. The body of the light is all aluminum. It definitely has a tactical appearance and feel in your hands. It would be easy to maintain control of the light with wet or gloved hands. There’s a two way clip. It allows tip up, or tip down carry. It can easily attache to your pants, hat, shirt pocket or tool bag etc.Since carrying it daily. I never thought to keep track of the daily run time to monitor battery life. But since AA batteries are readily available. I don’t think that’s an issue. I recently purchased some Rechargeable AA and AAA Batteries and a Charger. I’m sure that will help to add to the daily usefulness of carrying this light daily.Overall, I’m impressed with the Wuben quality and would easily purchase it again!Good luck
