Picture clearly shows 8 bigger stones and 8 smaller stones but upon opening the box there were no small stones. Very disappointing. Looking closer the add says it's supposed to be 41 piece set. I then tested them, after heating them for over 30 minutes in my hot stone heater, they were still not hot enough and did not hold heat well. I think false advertising and not basalt. Don't recommend buying.

The larger stones do hold the heat well. The small stones are actually facial or toe stones. Pictures are deceptive, really didn’t realize from the pics how small the small stones are. The small stones are tiny! Not what is depicted in the photos at all! Maybe they are 3/4 of an inch long, maybe and about a quarter of an inch thick.

The add reads 41 piece set.. large stone set I order this for my massage practice, I was not at all happy when I open my package at it is 8 medium stones and 8 small stones so I only received a portion of what was in the advertisement I do have a picture of the add to dispute improper advertisement..

They shipped fast however, the quality is pretty questionable. They came pretty beaten up looking, and have a synthetic type of feel almost. As you can see from the photos they are in pretty bad shape after being taken directly out of the wrapping they were shipped in.

These stones do not hold heat and the large round ones have sharp edges from side to side.
