Just received this today and was disappointed in the quality with gaps and wood chips. The size and sturdiness is great though. I will try to exchange for a different one.

We have collected three of these step stools over the years and have them positioned in rooms with shelving we frequently need to reach. They are the right size for grabbing something off a shelf. When picking up the stool by the center handle it feels balanced and easy to carry. I highly recommend this product, even if it is a bit pricy.

This is the little stool that could. This little beast is solid wood and STURDY. It doesn't matter what you throw, he's got you. The gray color is lovely. I move it to various places on my first floor layout and it always looks polished and inside the design. More sturdy than you are expecting. Will last throughout the next apocalypse and beyond. Just buy it.

These are extremely solid stools. I use them in my classroom and they've held up to our day to day use for about 2 months now. They occasionally get knocked over when I'm carelessly moving the table they're used at and still they've stayed sturdy. I'd definitely recommend. The only thing I wish they had are small sliders on the bottom of the legs so they slid better on my rug.
