I was disappointed that the calculator did not come with a detailed manual. Instead, one must be content with the pdf manuals provided online from Texas Instruments or taking a gamble on a third-party book. Unfortunately for me, this book did not provide sufficient details about the use of the TI-84 Plus CE.The book is a pseudo-self published guide book. As such, there is no editing (i.e. many typos), poorly written grammar, and not much in-depth detail. As an example, there are many sentences like "The TI-84 Plus CE CE Python Graphing Calculator is phenomenally powerful but it is also limited in memory." Such sentences restate the author's affinity for the calculator, but lack substantive content.The section on Python programming is useful and could possibly worth the price of the book - that remains to be seen.
