Turn Left for Stars: A SciFi Alien RomCom (Vandalar Concubines) Paperback – November 16, 2020

So I have been glued to this series. It is so refreshing to read a story that has developed through three books but each book is still its own standalone so if you read out of order, it’s not too rough. I really commend the author for keeping a wonderful story arc under 200 pages. The character development along with the plot is fantastic. Who says you need to read these 500 page books. SJM should really be taking notes.Highly recommend this book series I’m excited to read the other series. This author has. Also, the author never fails on giving you just the right amount of spice!!

Honestly, it’s refreshing to see an acknowledgment that polyam isn’t for everyone. It’s a lot of emotional energy, even if it’s a fun fantasy. I took off a star because I don’t think the background on Adrin was very clear. This book probably wouldn’t work well as a stand alone. Lizzy and Adrin had good chemistry and a nice love story.Spice: 5/5 meaning at least 50% of book is spiceTriggers: none I found

This series are so good, I can't get enough. The story is so sweet it almost gave me diabetes lol Izzy our girl she's full of spunk and is not afraid to show it and super adorable too and Adrin boy was he super hot and a full alpha with a tender and fragile heart that made him irresistible. I really like also that was fast paced I devoured this jewel in overnight since I couldn't put it down.I give it a 4.5/5 stars since I kinda wish there was more but that's my personal opinion .')

A very well written fantasy series. With a lot of heat and heart. Well written and makes you want to read more.

The writing - super superb. The plot to this story - meh. Not a fan.So the plot being that now Earth Females are going to come and live out the alien female's lives?Let's just do more reverse harems? Males don't get along with each other, but are obligated to live in reverse harems?The lead heroine was considering /doing/ this, even though the "hero" was desperate for her /not/ to do that?It made my stomach curdle. How is she any better than anyone else if she was entertaining the idea at any point?Just the thought that now the government is setting up a situation where even MORE men are living in unwanted reverse harem situations boggles my mind? why can't the original idea of one-on-one still be on the table.I am just super disappointed and don't know if I want to read any more books if suddenly the humans are coming to do the same stupid reverse harem stuff that is WRONG with this planet to start with.

This is definitely the cutest of the series! Adrin is so stinking adorable and eager to please! Poor baby just gets so nervous!!! I loved that his relationship with Izzy was so organic; the fact that they truly became friends and then fall in love. Izzy is spunky, but I wish a bit more of that spunk came across in the story.I would have loved a bit more smut as well...But the ending was adorable! What a perfect solution!!!

They get better with each book! Can’t wait to read the next two. The author does an amazing job with adding in some giggles with goofy moments while keeping the steam.

Love this series! I love the humour and her world building and her Characters are so real. I have to say this is my favourite Sci Fi series.Give this series a try if you haven’t read it yet! This is her best series.

One of my all time favourite series.My only complaint would be that I read them so fast that it's over before it's begun.🤩🤩🤩

This romance started as hilariously as I have come to expect from the series. The story is sweet, going from an alien and a human woman who are not initially attracted to each other, to friends and then to so much more. A true romance - which features relationship that blooms into love. Lol moments are spread throughout. I really enjoyed this sweet story and plan to immediately start the next book in this series.

Izzy is contracted to find three Vandalar males to live with her on her estate. These guys take classes on how to please females. But what if she only wants one?

This was a great story of discovering love and what you thought you wanted but actually didn’t. It was a fun read with quirky, down to earth, likeable characters and interesting situations. A real feel good story with a satisfying HEA.
