Many studies that show a rise in childhood hearing loss since the advent of MP3 players, tablets, and the music and games played on them. As parents we need to protect those developing ears from harm. Get the safest, get the best In their enthusiasm, kids will accidentally twist, pull, drop, and fight over headphones. The consequence? Broken headphones that need to be replaced. This gets expensive, and may be dangerous! HeadFoams were designed to take a beating and keep on beating. Bendy and rugged They can be bent in the opposite direction, twisted, stepped on and still survive! The body is made of single body of flexible foam, no moving plastic or metal or parts. The best gift you can give a kid HeadFoams also make the perfect unique gift you can be sure any child will be overjoyed and proud to receive. Safe, cool, fun The HeadFoams are really lightweight, too. The foam material is like the material the original Crocs® were made of -- making them lightweight and squishy. Not as great as I had hoped...
These headphones are kind of neat. The sound if fine and they are lightweight. They are, no doubt, very safe for kids. I also like the "fitting" solution of the snap-on spacer piece. The material is tough and firm...not "foamy" or squishy at all...which is probably a good thing but a bit different than advertised. I am not as experienced with kids being that hard on the headphone body, which is what has been beefed-up on this item. Kids, in my experience, are more likely to damage the headphone cord...Just like every other wired headphone user. The cord and connections on these appears to be the same lightweight material seen on any other inexpensive pair. Perhaps a bit thicker than typical ear-buds. I don't expect them to last any longer than any other headphones I have provided for my 6 year old...but these cost considerably more. Once again, good headphones. Sturdier body. No problems yet. A little disappointed that the cord appears no more rugged than usual.

Durable, but don't expect great sound. EDITED
These headphones seem to be pretty durable for kids' use. Sound quality is not so good - tinny and anemic, but with the age of my child, I'm not too worried about that. They've only been used for about 2 months so far, and they're wearing well. Still look new, and the cord terminations are still intact despite my child's best efforts. I'm a huge fan of the built-in volume limiter, and that is a great selling point for these. I will gladly get another set of these for my other child when it's time.EDIT 4-1-2015The connector for these headphones has failed. It actually failed more than a month ago, but only got around to the review now. So, really it failed within two months of purchase. No sound from the headphones unless you fiddle with the connector and then it fails again. People's complaints about the jack is totally true. Will not stand up to the abuse of a child. Too bad the cord doesn't disconnect at the ear cup, then the cord just be replaced. As is, these are unusable now.

Durable..Not anymore...
I purchased these for my son who has special needs, he can be tough on items, these have held up very well. They are SO durable and we havent had one problem with them.Update 8/22/2015My son got these on Christmas and they were great, durable but now....not so much. They still look great but about 2 months ago they stopped working, Im going to contact Amazon and see what they can do, I will update when I hear back.Update 9/25/2015Threw them out, been broken for awhile and I had hoped I could return them but I waited to long, thats my fault. But they did not last very long so I dont think I would buy again.

Nice Durable Quality with One Major Flaw!!
These are a great quality headphone. I bought them for my 4 yr old to use with his Kindle HDX but my 9 yr old enjoys using them as well. The cushions for the ears fit my 4 yr old perfectly but my 9 yr old says they work great for him too even though the cushion is technically smaller than his ears (but just slightly smaller). My only complaint it the little pc at the top of them that is removable. This is a great concept - to be able to adjust to different sz heads but the design is flawed!! This pc will fall out easily. I literally have to hold it in place when my child puts his headphones on. I would have preferred it to somehow lock into place so he doesn't have to have assistance when using them. Every time he removes the headphones or tilts them back.. Raises one ear pc up to hear me.. the pc falls off! BUT I WILL SAY THESE ARE AMAZINGLY DURABLE!! The can be twisted and stretched and maintain their shape!

Too hard for kids heads
When I read the description and saw the pictures I thought this would be great. I was excited bc My daughter needed comfy headphones - and I needed mine backThese did not turn out to fix the issue. These are a HARD foam. The extra piece to help w smaller noggins is hard as well and so sitting on a toddlers head they are not comfortable at all.My daughter kept saying they hurt and eventually refused to wear them.I'm glad that I waited before purchasing a pair for my son as I would have 2 sitting collecting dustI will say though it did seem kid proof but again it want really used to give it a firm stance on that fact

HeadFoams are OK - Prefer LilGadgets Untangled Pro
These were not my favorite. I originally wanted the LilGadgets but they were backordered this Christmas. I thought these would actually fit my 20 month old better for an airplane ride but they weren't great. They fit him ok, but they slipped pretty easily. While I love the idea of noise protection on head phones these are really too quiet. Sitting in the back of the airplane you could barely hear anything with the volume cranked up. The LilGadgets have this same feature, but you could still turn them up load enough to hear beautifully during the flight. Not my favorite, very good price, but unfortunately I will now be shelling out for the others when they come back in stock.

Great Buy
I purchased these headphones for my two boys for Christmas, They are two and four. After buying multiple pairs of cheaper headphones for them and finding them ripped in half or bent I figured whats the harm in trying these HeadFoams, afterall the reviews are amazing! We just opened these this morning so they have gotten much use yet. They seem to have both pros and cons, Here is what I Found in just our one day of use,Pros:Great colorsVery soft and flexableSound is limited so they wont turn it up to loudPackaging was very easily openedCons:The head extention piece makes the headphones even to small for my 2 year oldWish they wrapped foam down the cord to help prevent little ones from pulling cord from headphones which would result in buying yet another pair!Overall I am really impressed with this product and would recommend it, if anything changes since today is only our first day with them I will update this

good
I like these a lot , very sound good with out being to loud for my seven year old. They seem fairly tough though the first pair didn't survive an encounter with a Dyson

Excellent headphones
Bought in 2015 and used daily to listen to audible. Bought because they are softer than adults ones and don't creak like normal ones so I can listen without disturbing sleeping husband! They've just started playing up with the sound cutting in and out on one side - loose wiring. But after 5 years constant I'm ok with that! Re ordering!

Not bad. Not toddler proof - destroyed by age 3 ...
Not bad. Not toddler proof - destroyed by age 3 1/2 but she had them from age 2 so that's a good innings. The business end is bombproof but they fail in the same place all other headphones fail. The 3.5 mm connector bit gets jammed at funny angles and is not hardened for military/toddler use at all. Nice idea. Blatant weakness. Probably still better than anything else you'll find.

Bridle the for my grandsons, robust, bendy, cumfy
I purchased two pair of these for my two little grandies, who love them.... They are bendy, colourful, comfy on their little heads, and the boys can read or play their app games in peace and quiet....I thought the gift was for the grandchildren, but their mummy say's she now enjoys the piece, and quiet at set limited times, the children have on their games, iPad etc..... Both mummy and daddy praise the gift highly.
