Back of my car rusted,used this stuff and it did a good job stopping rust

i bought this to treat my trailer hitch step plate and wire connector holder on my truck. It's been a month since I treated it. Haven't painted it yet and there's no sign of rust yer.

Had a few small patches of rust on my FJ. Applied two coats and it turned black and looks to be encapsulated.

I was looking for a short cut to use on 1860s iron shell fragments found relic hunting. Normally everyone does electrolysis and the results are great, though time consuming and a lot of mess and effort. I was hopeful science had found a way to stop the fragments dissolving when removed from the ground, but unfortunately this product didn't really work. I followed the directions but after a few months I'm starting to see discoloration and probable bubbling up of the coating on the cast iron.I have a feeling this would work much better on surface rust, especially on sheet metal, but unfortunately for iron that has been in the ground for a few hundred years you really need to use electrolysis to treat the metal properly.

This rust converter worked great. I just brushed it on a metal plate that I couldn't sand all the rust off and the rust basically just turned black after a few seconds, I spray painted it with some white rustolleum spray paint and it stays rust free. Even after heavy rainy days. Great product. Definitely recommend.

Little goes a long way and definitely wear gloves.It leaves a clear tough coat on the treated area.Brush on and let stand for 30 minutes or so. Rust should turn a blue to black color ready for paint.On my chrome down tubes definitely not painting these. You can see where the rust was but, not enough to warrant paint at this time. The bike is over 12 years old and sits outside in the weather with a cover.Just needed something to stop the rust and this did the trick.

Living by the coast the rust battle is a constant. Experience matters. I have used the spray paint type rust converters. they do well on the upper most surfaces. This product is much better. When applied to rust it fizzes and foams, Getting into, under and around the rust. When dry it turns dark where the rust was. Repainted with oil based paint and it looks great. Its not cheap. but its better than the rest. Fast delivery!Rust never sleeps.....

Used on a rusted radiator. Went on really easily, although watch out for drips as it's very liquid. Dried quickly and radiator repainted. Will have to see how long it lasts but happy so far. Saved the cost of a replacement

Lieferung sehr schnell.Verarbeitung von Jenolite war gut, allerdings ohne Sprühflasche.Ich habe eine Maske verwendet, aber der Geruch hielt sich in Grenzen.Rost war meinem Anschein nach gut gebunden ( die Stellen wurden nach dem Trocknen schwarz) und ließen sich danach problemlos mit Metalllack überstreichen.Langzeitwirkung kann ich jetzt noch nicht beurteilen.
