Entertains
I've read the complete series. I like to read books that can get my mind off the craziness of what's going on in the world. This series of book are a quick read, holds your attention and doesn't make you have to concentrate overly much on all the characters and the parts they play.

Fridays with the wizards was spellbinding!
Like the previous books, this one is totally captivating! there is an evil wizard hiding within the walls of the castle, and the search for him takes several twists of fate. He put sleeping spells on his victims that the court wizard couldn't figure out, he tries to steal a griffin egg, and even tries to kidnap Celie's griffin. Celie bravely seeks him out, and finds a way to remove the secret passageways within the castle walls. I love the way the Castle helps Celie and protects her. Not only are there wizards in and at the Castle, but a wedding is being planned, a ship is being built and griffin eggs are hatching. wonderful things are happening amid the wizard search. It's a spellbinding and riveting story. I love these books and Jessica Day George has a wonderful way of telling these stories! It's definitely a keeper!

Such a Cute Read!
I LOVE Jessica Day George’s books, especially her Castle Glower series. So this past weekend I decided to pick up her newest book in that series and read it. And promptly finished it in about two days. It. Was. So. Good.Fridays With the Wizard is a continuation of book 3, so if you’ve not read the other books in this series, you won’t understand what’s happening.Celie, our protagonist, is this spunky 11-year-old whom I adore. Seriously, she’s be a lot to handle, but I love her. The evil wizard, Arkwright, has escaped and is lurking somewhere in the castle. It is up to Celie and her brother Bran, the Court Wizard, to find him. Celie’s feeling a little upset, with all the changes that have happened over the course of the books, and so she is more upset in this book. This is just a fun light read, something I needed over the weekend. The only thing I wish it had—MAPS. I sort of wish there were some maps in these books.

Amazing Book!!!
This was a great book to read. It is action-packed, and there's never a dull moment. It keeps you on your toes, and even for those who don't like scary things, this will be great. I recommend this book for anyone looking for something new to read (but make sure you read the first three first).

Excellent Continuation Of Celia's Adventures
What fun! The story of Celia and crew continues in this next book in the Tuesdays at the Castle series, with more castle secrets revealed, further family story developed, and a deeper history of this fascinating land of griffins, unicorns (?), wizards, and magical living castle explored. Celia is back to her usual business, uncovering more about her castle and solving the royal family's woes, while also struggling to deal with an unexpected announcement from her sister that threatens to separate her from her beloved castle. With help from Lulath, Pogue, Ethan, and an ever increasing clan of bonded griffins, she once again takes on the evil Arkwright to protect her parents, her belovedly fussy sister, Lilah, her once-and-future king brother, Rolf, and her clever if cautious Royal Wizard brother, Bran. As always, they come through their adventures wiser and a bit older, more ready to explore new parts of their world with griffins at their side.

Fun for young and old alike
Jessica Day George's books are fun for the young and for adults. She's rather a guilty pleasure, but thankfully my Kindle hides her covers from prying eyes.Well, if these were printed copies with full-color covers in oversized, I'd still read them, and just give anyone who gave me a funny look a funny look back in return ... well, that or a copy of their own. No one can take away my fun YA! It's great that kids and my daughter (23) like her stories also. We love all Jessica Day George's books.Fridays with the Wizards iss a great addition to the Tuesdays at the Castle series. If you enjoyed them, you'll enjoy this book also!

This is the fourth book of the Castle Glower - Fridays with the Wizards
This is the fourth book in the Castle Glower series by Jessica Day George. The book is continues with adventures of the Glower children in their magic castle. The children return to the castle and knowing more about the old wizard sent by the School of Wizardry, they lock him up, but some how he escapes. The children and the castle work together to find the wizard and get rid of him. This is a fantastic fantasy and I would recommend it to young and old alike. Now on to the fifth book (Saturday at Sea).

The Castle Glower Series Are Great Reads for Upper Elementary and Middle School
My 11 yo daughter and I have read this series, including “Friday’s With The Wizards”, together—we are currently reading “Saturday’s At Sea”. These are delightful and fun stories for both of us. The first book, “Tuesday’s At The Castle”, started a little slow, but by the middle, it was much more engaging and interesting. My daughter has encouraged several friends to begin the series and they have each enjoyed them as well. I highly encourage these books and will look at the authors other books next.
