Not the best ‘Chakli’.
This product from brand ‘Pure&Sure’ contains ‘Chakli’, a popular tea-time snack which originated in Maharashtra and South India (another variant is known as ‘Murukku’), and now popular all across India. The ‘Chakli’ has been accurately illustrated on the package. The brand claims this ‘Chakli’ to be certified ‘Organic’, although 3 of its 8 ingredients: namely Vegetable Oil, Salt, and Asafoetida, are not organic. The ‘Chakli’ is crispy and crunchy. It has a strong odour of ‘Groundnut Oil’, even though the list of ingredients specifies the oil utilised as ‘Vegetable Oil’. This strong odour is rather off-putting.When bitten into, one feels an overpowering flavour of ‘Garlic’, despite the list of ingredients not mentioning any use of ‘Garlic’. It is reminiscent of ‘Postcard’ brand’s ‘Sattur Seeval’ product, which I had in 2019. The ‘Postcard’ product had a flat shape, which allowed for the ‘Garlic’ flavour to be noticeably felt, without being overpowering. Here, the spiral shape of the ‘Chakli’ actually serves as an unexpected con for the product. It also generates heat inside of one’s mouth when eaten, though not so bad as to make one’s eyes watery. One does notice the utilisation of ‘Red Chilli Powder’ as stated under the list of ingredients. The ‘Chakli’ can be consumed on its own, or be paired with a cup of a milk-based hot beverage such as tea or coffee, so as to bring about a balance of flavours.Overall, while not the best ‘Chakli’ product in the Indian market as of now, this product can certainly be tried out, especially by fans of ‘Garlic’-based food products.

Too much of chillies
Palak chakli is supposed to be healthy. This one is far from it. I don't think the batter was good. Furthermore it was full of chillies. Unhealthy stuff. One star if at all.

Palak chakli is of poor taste
Not worth buying. I wanted to taste it once but Amazon put min. quantity to be 2, so I had to waste money. For future buyers, don't try Palak chakli, it's of poor taste and quality. Buy something with your local vendors at cheap rates by trying once.

Didn't like the taste
This brand of chakli doesn't taste too good. The quantity is less. After eating 3 pieces, it gave me a weird queasy feeling like I had overeaten. What oil are they using?
