Wella EIMI Velvet AmplifierThis is a non aerosol spray bottle, it has a pump action spray button on top, the bottle is plastic, it's also non pressurised. Bottle contents are 150ml.To use this you must have damp hair. Just spray this on as you gently dry the hair with a drier, using a brush to gradually style the hair. This has a nice gentle fragrance, nothing overpowering. I can't really describe the smell, it is just a nice clean pleasant fragrance.This was used on my wife's hair, she found that it was very light in feel, it never felt stiff or matted. Her hair held in place nicely with a natural light airy look. It also held it's style without giving the appearance of having any setting lotion applied to it.Later that evening she run a brush through her hair, the brush moved freely without any stickiness or tangling. If you don't need an ultra hold product and are just looking to craft a style which will have a flexible hold that will retain it's main look but still have movement then this is ideal - you can just squeeze some out of the pump and run through slightly damp hair and then build into a style and it will feel really lightweight once your hair and style are dried and it won't look over-worked, so it's a great for a natural, care-free look with medium hold.If you want a much firmer hold for a really sculpted style or something you don't want shifting over a long night out or on a windy day then use this as before to add some volume and build the style with more strength without getting things too sticky or too caked in product and once you're there with the right volume or style and it's just about dry then finish with a really good holding spray - give it a light going over on one of the lower settings on your drier then repeat and you'll have a very solid, crafted style that won't shift but will also feel and look lightweight without lots of dried white bits of product etc. It's also only very lightly scented so suitable for guys and girls. My style held perfectly all through the wind today and I didn't feel like I had plastic hair or anything too heavy going on and got good compliments too! If it was a tiny bit cheaper I'd give it five stars but it's awesome and worth the cost above cheaper alternatives that don't hold as well or clump up.
