Great
I honestly thought the product would get hot since it’s metal surrounding a heating device. However, the product doesn’t get hot and my ball python is completely protected from the heating element being covered. The product was easy to install and bulb is easy to replace. Would recommend to others.

Nice and sturdy, get the job done
Comes with 4 screws for easy installation. This is too small to fit larger bulbs such as halogen, but they will fit standard ones. I used mine to cover my smaller CHEs.

Saved my chicks
I was losing chicks by being scalded from the heat lamps. This has been their life saver. They are easy to fit (required screws are provided), stay cool and can be easily opened to change the heat lamps.

Doesn’t fit
Says it fits over the bulb but it doesn’t. Have to return

Warped metal but still functional
The actual hookable cover part for both of them is warped and bent inwards. There’s actually a gap between the base and the rest of the cylinder but thankfully it’s way too small for my snake to get burned. Looks like it’ll work fine, just not the most attractive appearance
