DIMOST Ear Pads Headband Compatible with Astro A50 GEN 4 Headset - NOT FIT GEN 3

Well I wrote a whole essay about all the reasons you should 100% buy this kit, but I clicked out of the page and lost it, so let me bullet point it:Stock Astro A50 Gen4:-Cheap and almost flimsy feeling.-One of (if not) the most uncomfortable headsets I've ever used.-No noise isolation so rubbish for gaming with case fans blaring.-Official Modkit price to fix all this is literally a scam.Now the DIMOST pads:-Leather is extremely soft and supple, Comparable to my sony WH-series headphones, but chonkier.-So comfy I don't even notice I'm wearing the headset anymore.-Makes the headset feel about 300% more premium, no more cheap chintziness.-Cheaper than the official modkit (especially here in NZ; ~$60 vs $100.)-Contrary to the other reviewer, mine still fit in the charging cradle just fine.-Can't hear my PC fans anymore when gaming.-The top pad doesn't snap in as positively as the original, but is still perfectly secure. Ear cushions fit perfectly.-Expect to do some wild EQ changes to get the sound profile in line (-3 -4 +3 +2 +4 in the astro app works good for me.) Sounds waaay better than with the stock pads now though.I really can't recommend this kit enough. If you're here because you're thinking an upgrade might be in line for your stock A50 Gen 4s, just do it.

At first, I bought these because I had mistakenly thought the official mod kit would out of stock for a much longer time. I was wrong and it came around the same time I decided to buy these as an alternative. In my humble opinion, these are absolutely worth the money and I really could not tell the difference between these and the official ones. Decided to keep the official ones since Amazon simply has an easier return convenience for me. Otherwise, the Dimost version still fit into the base pretty easily and actually has more cushioning. I even asked my kid to try and tell the difference and he had a really hard time as well. So for those wanting to get good value, this is a definite must instead of the official ones.

son buenas almohadillas pero paso exactamente 1 año con uso de 4 a 7 horas aprox por día y se están empezando a pelar, a mi en lo personal no me molesta ya que sigue cumpliendo la función de cancelación de ruido, lo cual las almohadillas anteriores no podían hacer, otra cosa es que son muy grandes y si les gusta cargar los audífonos con su base no van a poder lo cual a algunos se les podría hacer incomodo.

If i had kept the a50 this would have stayed with it. but the A50 is hands down one of the most uncomfortable headsets ive ever put on my head, and ive tried a LOT of them. Headband is so uncomfortable they might as well replace it with a steel bar. Sound profile is ok, but very weird compared to other brands. The companion App on PC is fine. But its not even close to as good as the Arctis 7 Wireless.

Muy buen producto, incluyen los aros plásticos ora intercambiar las almohadillas originales cada vez que se necesite de una forma muy sencilla; las originales son un poco más cómodas por ser de tela (obviamente) pero con estas se obtiene un sonido mucho más envolvente; además las recibí en colombia en una semana, fue muy rapido

As previously said in title, product does not fit as advertised, now I have to return these, wait for a refund, and go through astro

Si eres amante como yo, de los bajos, este accesorio es sin ninguna duda, la mejor opción. No tuve la fortuna de conseguir los originales pero sin ninguna duda, estos podrían pasar completamente como tales. Respecto a los comentarios que dicen que se te calienta mucho las orejas, les comento, soy de Tabasco, y si, calientan levemente más, pero no es nada que marque un antes y un después, tampoco es nada que moleste como para pensar en quitárselos.Por otro lado les doy un consejo, después de semanas jugueteando y buscando la mejor opción, les dejo mi configuración para que la prueben:Para XBOX Y PC1. En astro command center elijan la ecualizacion predeterminada “Astro” y bajen la primer barra de izquierda a derecha a 0db. Luego en la app de Dolby Access del Xbox configura en modo película y en modo detallado. Una chulada2. The ear cups feel nice and cool, and dissipate heat really well. Definitely insulates noise better, so when my girlfriend is making noise in the other room, I can totally block that out when I switch ear cups. The headband is also much better than the original one that comes with the A50s. Much thicker and doesn’t hurt my head! 10/10. Could honestly pass for OEM

Comfy earpads, blocks out more sound.some say it doesnt fit into the cradle and charge, but if you balance it right it will still fit and charge!only issue i had was the packaging could have been more protective, as the pads were squashed and havent retained their shape and started peeling off the frame.Same with the head pad, it seems a bit warped and doesnt sit evenly, however not noticeable

No pude encontrar el modkid original para los Astro a50 pero estos son una buena alternativa calidad precio.

Perfecto a la medida, si aísla el ruido externo, pero cambia el sonido
