9 wishes VB Premium Tone-Up SPF21 (1.69 Fl. Oz.) - Lightweight Primer Foundation, Face Moisturizer with Niacinamide and Thermal Water, Anti-Wrinkle

So I bought this out of curiosity about a year ago and didn't really like it much on first impression. If you're looking for a make up primer, there are cheaper primers that give up the tone-up effect, and if you're looking for a stand-alone foundation, this isn't it, as the coverage is extremely sheer. I finally found a use for it when I moved in with my boyfriend and no longer wanted to spend all day in a full face of foundation. It's great for giving your skin that even glow with a slight tone-up that lightens up darker areas of the face. Other tone-up creams made my face look flat, like I was missing a few steps of my make up routine, namely contour, but this just made me look put together enough where all I needed was eyebrows and mascara to look done up but still natural and 'no make up'.

I absolutely love this product! There is no coverage at all so if you are looking for coverage this is not a product to use. But it is amazing if you want lighter and brighter skin! I am very pale and have tried many foundations, BB, CC creams and cushions and none match my skintone. Now I wear only this because it does not give me an unwanted color on my face and it is so natural looking! Although it may not cover my freckles and all of the redness (it does help reduce slight redness from my face) on my face, I feel content that my skin looks bright and beautiful. If you have a darker skintone it may make your face slightly white so I would suggest to apply on your neck area. Overall though I highly recommend, especially if you want something that looks natural, not cakey, light weight and something to just brighten your face (:

I use this as a base or sometimes just on it's own with a little concealer on darker areas. It's a very mild white cast at first but rather than just remaining white, I feel like it does "tone up" or brighten the skin by slightly toning down dark spots and evening out overall sallow face color. Feels light and it has SPF so it does double duty. So far so good.

When I came upon this product, I thought there is now way this isnt some type of scam where its just your typical moisturizer with spf that leaves a whitecast and marketed as a "vanish cream"... I was so sure all the positive reviews were just placebo and that it was meant to be subtle so people thought it worked when it didn't. So I decided to test it out by taking pictures in the same room, in the same spot under natural light before/after using this cream and omg... it actually works! If you have really severe discoloration or acne marks/hyperpigmentation then dont expect a miracle, this isnt foundation, but my main issue was my under eye darkness and I was amazed to notice that it reduced it quite a bit! Again, this isnt foundation so don't expect it to completely get rid of those circles but it looks 3x better than without the cream! Highly recommend.

Not really what I expected but I will keep my mind open to other products.

I've seen this online an decided to get it for days when I don't want to wear foundation. The formula is great, its thin yet moisturizing but doesn't feel heavy. In terms of whitening, it brightens up the skin a fair amount depending on how much you use. I like this much better than other tone up creams I've tried because they tend to feel chalky and heavy/drying on the skin, but this feels like a light lotion. The tone up effect also lasts all day.

Does not work as advertised

Please don’t use if you have sensitive skin, for some reason it burns a lot. I also have dark skin and would not recommend it for others that do. “Brightening” here just means whiter, as it leaves a very noticeable white cast over the face. If your skin isn’t irritated by the product like mine is, maybe try mixing it with your foundation to suit your skin tone.
