Seems good
Bought to bond old render that keeps bubbling up. Hard to tell at this stage if it has worked. Here's hoping.

All The Good of PVA and None Of The Bad
PVA is an amazingly useful liquid. It can be added used as a general purpose glue ( its the same as wood glue ) and you can also add it to fillers and plaster. It speeds up setting, increases stickiness, and increases hardness. It's excellent diluted as a primer for plaster and filler, and can happily seal dusty or fragile surfaces prior to painting or plastering. When it says waterproof it is not completely waterproof but it is substantially more so than ordinary PVA, which makes it far more suitable for applying under water based paint. Anyone who has used ordinary PVA knows that it's difficult to paint over with water based paints, but not this. It's also very useful for priming wood. Mix up a thick solution and it will halt moisture intake, prevent mould and so on. If I am making rough woodwork projects, workshop benches or the like, then I use this on raw unfinished wood as a sealant. It's extremely easy to apply, and you don't need anything else.I would not use this for exterior use, it's not waterproof enough. I would class it as water resistant. For waterproof need SBR.
