I ordered these mounts nearly three days ago and according to Amazon, they have not even shipped yet. Not shipped I tell ya. However, I have ordered these same mounts for a 590 and they fit perfectly; I have 2 serious suggestions. Do NOT over-tighten the screws. and If you use permanent thread lock, use very sparingly. I prefer the blue, removable type myself. Oh, unload your gun when working on it. You don't want to blow a hole in your ceiling. Your upstairs neighbors may not like you anymore.

Weaver Top Mount Base Pair for Mossberg 500
These mounts fit my gun perfectly. It comes with the appropriate screws, but you will need a fitting flathead screwdriver. Installation was straightforward and simple. Sturdy mounts, won't be coming off any time soon. If your mossberg doesn't have the screw holes on top, you may need to purchase a different mount.
