Most people giving a bad review about this alarm saying it is easy to remove when a thief sets it off or it is cheaply made. Yes it is easy to remove if you don't use the little screw that comes in the parts packet. Put it in the back of alarm as directed and you can't twist it off. You have to rip the whole alarm off your bike. Yes the bracket is made of plastic so you only need hand tightening slowly. Be sure to add the rubber spacer to protect your bike. One CON I have is that you have to recharge the battery on the bike or take it apart because of the screw on the back. Placement of alarm is critical so you can reach the charge port easily to recharge. Its up to you whether you use the screw or not. The alarm is just a deterrent and if a thief wants your bike no alarm is going to stop him. Backup your alarm with a reliable lock. For the price this alarm does it's job well. Its is small loud and easy to use after you read the manual and get to know how use it. Love it and hope to be using for a long time protecting my bike.

I was looking for something that would make me feel a little more secure when I drove my electric scooter to run errands. I use a couple of different cable locks depending on how secure I need to make it but I wanted something more. I love my scooter and go all kinds of places on it but that is another story. Anyway, I saw this alarm on Amazon and for $20 plus I thought I would give it a shot. I attached it to the top inside of my handlebars kind of under a cup holder I have on my scooter and it is hard to notice it is even there. I LOVE IT! Absolutely exceeded my expectation. In combination with my cable lock I don't worry about leaving my scooter outside of any store or restaurant I may visit. If you were to grab the scooter it would give off a short warning alarm, and moving it any more will set off the main extended alarm. You also get a key fob to set and dis-arm the alarm. People will give you a 2nd look when you walk off and your scooter (or bike) alarm sets with an audible sound. I really had no idea what I was getting when I ordered this but it makes me feel a lot better about running errands on my scooter which I love to ride. I read some reviews where someone said it was attached with a plastic strap. Yes it is. However, I think it is silly to think someone is going to hang around and figure out where the alarm is and then how they might cut it off while it's going off and attracting attention. It's worth the $25.

I bought this as an added layer of security for my eBike. For installation, it comes with a mounting bracket or zip ties. If using the bracket, there's a small screw included to attach the bracket to the alarm so it can't just be twisted off and tossed. I like that it's rechargeable. It's easy to arm and disarm and the alarm is quite loud. I do wish it had a slightly slimmer profile to allow for alternate mounting locations.

I use this on an expensive eBike and on occasion leaving it parked in public and tied up to a bike rail, its just nice to have this peace of mind that someone will draw a lot of attention if they mess with my bike. Love that its got a keyfob like a car would and I'm very happy with the loudness and effectiveness of the alarm overall.

Substantial volume from a small device. The device has warning tone that can be good if you accidentally move the bike while the alarm is on, but not so good if a thief can figures out that you have an alarm and where it is to disable it. Over all a great buy for the price!

This did not work and did not charge at all and tried to charge it for 2 days !

This device is easy to install….anywhere. When traveling I locate it on my trailer and am very confident that I will be awakened if someone tampers with it. Very loud.

Put this on my e-bike. I have a good lock, but e-bikes are a real target for thieves. This gives an extra layer of protection. Super simple to install.
