Seemed to do what it said.
I have only used this product once so early days but I found i5 did seem to give my hair a certain amount of volume and I’m sure after more use it will build up. It was pleasant to us.

No difference (yet?)
This is a 250ml bottle of shampoo, which I have very high hopes with, with nothing fulfilled (yet?).The bottle is pretty sleek with a pump at the top, like a hair mousse or conditioner. The bottle is packed with all goodies, which supposed to be good for the hair on the long run and make it stronger/healthier.I’ve used 3x so far (applied 2x each time) just to give an extra boost for it, so far nothing changed. Still weak and not shiny. The shampoo itself is not foaming too much so I’ve ended up using quite a lot each time I’ve applied. It doesn’t contains parabens/sulphates/prosphates which is definitely a positive for this product. As those heavy chemicals can be found in most cosmetic products. So far this is just a very expensive bottle of shampoo, but will update my review in a month or two with the effects on my hair.

Soothing stimulation...
In hair terms the word 'thickening' seems to mean two things, either thickening existing hair by conditioning the hair-shafts and giving a more luxurious feel or it means increasing the overall amount of hair-shafts by stimulating the scalp and follicles to grow. This MY HAIR DOCTOR Thickening Shampoo seems to lean more to the conditioning aspect, although there are some scalp stimulating ingredients in here too. It avoids the more common stimulants like Caffeine and opts for herbal or nutritional stimulants, so you don't get the tingle effect of some Caffeine shampoos. Trouble is I'm not sure you get all the stimulating effect either. For me this is the shampoo I'd use to sooth and calm an irritated scalp rather than the one I'd use to wake it up, but maybe that's just me?It comes in an appealing pump action bottle and it's a total pleasure to use, mainly because of the delicious fragrance which is a blend of fruit and spice and smells like Christmas on a tropical island. It lathers well but not too foamy and you leave it on your hair for two minutes before rinsing away. It doesn't strip your hair like some Caffeine shampoos tend to and you're left with clean and conditioned hair. I've been using it in conjunction with the MY HAIR DOCTOR Hair Growth Booster Treatment, which is a spray leave-on product, and I feel that has more effect than this shampoo has on its own. Either way it's a pleasure to use and may be a viable treatment for anyone trying to keep their Caffeine intake down (joking).

Good lather and beneficial to dry scalps
I used this for the first time this morning and have to say that it actually feels really good on your hair and scalp. It lathers up really well and 2 washes with it, leaving it on for 2 mins at a time, leaves your hair feeling clean, with no scalp itchiness or other side effects. This does seem to make your hair feel thicker. It has a dry feel to it when washed, which gives your hair more body and texture to it.I suffer with psoriasis, so often get a dry scalp with flakiness. I've found that this has left my scalp feeling really good and I've had no dry flaky patches today, so it seems like the ingredients are also beneficial to people with psoriasis too.I can definitely recommend this. If I do suffer any side effects over the coming weeks or other onservatio s of note, I'll be sure to update my review.

Gentlest shampoo I ever tried!
I have very thin and fine hair with some shedding. This shampoo has helped with the shedding. It is very gentle and feels great when you lather it on. It did not strip my hair and It smells great. It has made my hair look fuller and thicker. It has given me a head full of hair no more dead thin hair. I have not seen any growth yet but to say I have volume and fuller thicker hair is a definite yes. Yey to thicker and fuller hair. We shall see how well it does after a month and more. I cant wait to see the results then.

Smells great and leaves my hair really clean
Easy to use with the pump action bottle. It does take a few pumps to get enough out for my hair length. Smells lovely and leaves my hair feeling soft and clean. Not noticed any difference in volume but still a lovely shampoo.

Hairs feels clean
The hair feels clean after using the shampoo however I am not too keen on the scent it smells a bit clinical. It also doesn’t lather very well. It’s hard to tell if it works. I am still hoping it works only time will tell. However my hair does feel clean!

A Nice Shampoo that Needs Patience
This Hair Doctor Shampoo seeks to give the hair more volume and body with some accompanying strength and does deliver up to a point. It has a decent formulation (Gingko, Kigalia and Vitamin B3) which is paraben and sulphate free and is nearly 92% Natural ingredients which is pretty impressive. The fragrance is really elusive-slightly sweet but with elements that defy the normal 'flowery' or 'fruity' labels-it should not, however, be a problem for anybody and avoids smelling of chemicals. The shampoo comes in a pump action dispenser which is very handy for controlling the flow of a premium product. It takes the form of a medium thickness gel which is a light yellow rather like a banana shampoo but with a different fragrance. It doesn't produce a great deal of lather which will not help with coverage of long hair. The idea is to leave the shampoo on for at least two minutes as you would a conditioner which makes sense, although it might be an issue if you are in a hurry first thing in the morning! The results-certainly clean and nice smelling hair which feels nourished and with no evidence of broken strands. Obviously this requires extended use if you are looking to build up volume and to make the most of the follicles you have. Still, it is a feel good shampoo which can be complimented by other products in the range. My advice would be to try this out for a month or so to see if it works for you-meantime your hair will look good and smell great so you can't really lose too much.
