When you order this collar, order some mink oil and rub the collar down to water proof it and cover up any scuffs or scratches.When the collar arrive and we were adjusting it for our pup she scratched a few places. It wasn't very noticeable and after treating it with mink oil they disappeared. The collar design is genius. No more reaching under and fishing for the leash loop. I will order another as my dog grows.*Mink oil may cause your collar to turn a bit darker. The first photo is before the oil and the second is when I first applied the oil. I let the collar cure overnight and it lighten up a bit.

Beautiful collar, but too big. Our 55 lb lab mutt has a 17" neck, but the collar needed to be taken in an inch or two to fit so we had to return. Sizing is off, so be cautious if you are on the cusp like we were.UPDATE: we were contacted by customer service immediately after our initial review. We were sent a smaller size, and they even offered us a discount! Now that's customer service! They said they also updated the product measurements so they should be more accurate moving forward. This collar is beautiful.

I needed to take a moment and provide this review for the service and concern shown to me by the vendor of this product. I ordered the "large" version of this collar for my Chessie who has a 20 1/2" neck. When I received the collar it was way to small even though it was supposed to fit her according to the sizing recommendations. Having looked at maybe 30 different collars (my first time buying a collar on line) I did realize quite quickly that sizing is all over the place from manufacturer to manufacturer so it was a chance and I took it. So lesson learned, no issues. I requested an RMA from Amazon to return the product left the seller a short feedback note stating the collar was to small, and moved on. I ordered another collar from a different vendor that was said to fit a dog with anywhere between a 19" and 26" neck, so I figured I could not go wrong and I ordered it. Upon receiving my notification from Amazon about my order, I also received an email from this vendor letting me know that they were sorry for the issue and offered to make it right. I relayed to them that I had already ordered another collar and that I did not blame them or harbor any grief over the issue but they insisted on making me happier than I already was. They did. I will say that it was nice to feel like your decision to buy from them made a difference and not just a few bucks. Kudos to the folks at Soft Touch Collars for standing behind not only your product but your desire to please your customers, Thank You.Now about the product. I just received it so I cannot comment on how it will look in a year or so after multiple swims in the lake (her favorite hobby), trips through the woods and rolls in the snow. Upon initial inspection it does appear that it is well made. The stitching is accurate and I did not see any loose/mis-sewn stitches. The hardware is heavy no doubt and will most likely hold up quite well. I just now put it on her and it fits fine. If you are considering this collar, just consider ordering a size larger if you are close to the collar size limit. Nice product, great customer service.

Metal loop broke completely off the one month old collar when attached to a leash. Dog escaped and ran into traffic. The metal loop embedded in the leather collar literally broke off - the leather did not break, rather, the metal loop that a leash gets hooked to on the collar broke in half while dog was hooked to leash. Horrible quality.

At first, we liked this collar for our 70 lb. Pitbull Weimaraner mix.However only after using it a few days, the stitching ripped that held the D-ring in place in the middle of the collar.The dog was tied out on her outdoor cable when it broke. When I went outside to bring the dog back in, I noticed her about 50 ft away up the driveway.....and heard the neighbor lady calling my name. She found the dog walking up the street and got her home. Thank goodness somebody was watching out for her.The D-ring is positioned about halfway along the collar and is held in place by stitching on each side of the ring through the leather. The leather broke right along one line of stitching. You can see it in the photos I've included.Looking back now, I will not buy one with a D-ring positioned like this. I think a collar with the ring positioned up near the buckle would hold in place better.I'm returning this for a refund.

Little Marco the puppy, who is something of a ladies' man, loves to show off this collar to all of the girl dogs at the park. He especially likes that there is an extra attachment for his ID tag, which makes it very easy for him to give out his digits.Update: Marco finally grew into the large tan/blue collar and I've included these since there are a lack of photos of the tan/blue collar. They both look terrific!

We love these collars. They are top quality leather. Both function and looks! My dogs look amazing in them and they fit great. We have American bulldogs. We also added halter sized name plates at our local tack store.

Fast postage given it came from US. Really well made and heavy duty which is important with a big dog. Love the colour of the lining which is super soft and the fact there’s a separate ring to attach name tag onto.

Nice collar i took a small 16"not much room on his neck as could only get it in first hole. Reccomend a size bigger
