Solid budget phone let down by screen
This was bought as a phone for my fiancee, who hates the fact that phones are now far beyond pocket sized. It's a solid enough phone for the money, but the disappointment comes from the fact that the screen is not a particularly even brightness, very noticeable at the top edge of the screen. I believe it also struggles with multi touch, but cannot confirm this, as I haven't used it personally. Solid, but not the bargain it could so easily have been

use the settings to adjust screen brightness and font size (letters) etc
for the price a very good mobile and using settings one can tailor make a very good screen !I am delighted with my one .

You get what you pay for, but it works.
Not a lot to praise or complaint about really, as long as you understand a £60-70 smartphone is not an iPhone 13 or Samsung Galaxy s22 and is really not going to be blazing fast or have the brightest & zingiest screen then it is a competent little phone that does all of what it should and is great VFM at its price point. It just does it all a bit slower than most others and on a screen that you have to squint to see on a bright day

Perfect for a 11 kid with small pocket
Needed a phone to go to and back from school and all of them are too large and up for losing or getting stolen. This one is perfect and still have all android features needed such as Family Link

Nice little phone & cheap
I wanted a small smart phone, but they are not so common as the half a TV size ones that are just too big to be practical. This one fits the bill a treat and cheap too. Only runs on 3g but that's fine for me, in fact its often better particularly in rural areas where the signal on 4g isn't too hot.

Compact form factor, solid build, entry level spec
I brought this as I was looking for a 4" inch sized android phone, and there's very few models now made in this size bracket.Size wise, this phone is pretty much identical to the old-school iPhone SE. Easy one handed operation and fits comfortable in the pocket of womens jeans, which is a novelty among new phones. It runs pure android 11, no skins, no bloatware, which is definitely a HUGE bonus. No garbage at all. It is the lightweight "Go" version of android, designed for limited RAM / limited CPU power devices. It's a low cost phone and that does show in the specs. It's 1gb RAM, 32gb ROM, quad-core CPU, though as this is from a Chinese brand you get the customary dual SIM slots (nano size), and a user removable and replaceable battery (yay!), all of which are located under the removable back panel. Note you MUST remove the back panel before powering on the phone (you need to for the SIM anyway) as the battery has an isolating plastic tab you need to pull out first (needs quite a tug). In the box you get the phone, which comes with a soft, clear silicone style case and screen protector already in place, as well as micro USB cable (yep, no USB C here), and the usual charger (1 amp).As a result you get Android "Go" version. This is fully compatible with standard Android, but essentially boils down a few changes to make it lighter - mainly some of the stock android apps like Maps and Gallery are replaced with lightweight "Go" versions that are essentially shortcuts that open those services via Chrome . You are free to install the full version apps if you wish, but the Go versions actually work pretty well. The other change is solely cosmetic and a less GPU intensive version of the UI is used - lots of square corners and less animations - though it's essentially the same UI, so everything is located as normal on stock android, just less flashy. So far it's pretty positive but there are some downsides:* Android Auto isn't supported. Don't know why. It installs from play store, but when run gives an "unsupported on this device" error. I use Google Maps anyway, but be aware.* Performance is adequate. It's not *fast*. I don't really like smartphones and only use it for utilitarian purposes (paying for parking, mobile banking, navigation, checking emails / texts / calls, listening to the odd podcast) but don't expect to do any games or anything. I suspect this is more down the RAM than the CPU, but be aware.* Screen and cameras are fine. They're perfectly usable but are not going to set the world on fire. Same All are fine for utilitarian needs but if you absolutely must grab the perfect insta influencer moment, or capture the perfect sunset and edit it on phone... yeah, that's not going to happen. Selfie camera is 2mp and main camera is 5mp. It's fine for Duo. The backlighting is pretty basic. At the top of the screen you can see some unevenness from the backlight LEDs. It's trivial and doesn't make the phone less usable, but if you love your 4K retina displays, not the phone for you.Keyboard works surprisingly well. I don't like touch keyboards but honestly didn't find it any less accurate than that on my old Huawei P20. I was expecting this to be a real pain for me but was pleasantly surprised that it was accurate and not too small. Good marks.Ultimately if you want a small, easy to carry phone that does the basic tasks you want a modern phone for (Email, calls, texts, utility apps like banking, loyalty cards, parking, navigation etc.) then this will do that and do it reliably, if not with any degree of excitement. If you want to run influencer life brand from it... I'm going to wager a guess you're in for a frustrating time and a refund.
