I ordered this to make resin eyes for fishing lures. The mold has a fine texture and does not leave a smooth surface. It's especially apparent with clear resin. You cannot see through the clear resin due to the texture.

The surface isn't shiny smooth, so clear resin casts come out with a frosted dome look. Otherwise, it's easy to use. Can't recommend for transparent resins or for making resin eyes.

I didn't pay attention to the size - this mold is less than 3" across, outside dimensions. Nice mold if you are looking for very small cabachons.

Accurate sizing. Easy to use with resin. I haven’t tried with UV resin but I’m sure it’ll work great. Great for doll eyes, Atleast the 12mm one.
