I just purchased this case for a second time, I had the same case a few years ago with my last iPhone 3. After crushing and fixing my iPhone 4s three times( I didn't have a nice case like this on it), I purchased a new iPhone 3 recently.There is nothing at all to complain about, and that is the truth. I have purchased SO many cases trying to find the perfect one. Some were pretty but not functional. Some were very protective but hindered the use of my phone. Some were expensive and some were down right cheap.Everything from a Otterbox to a cheap China made case, all purchased on Amazon.This case is gorgeous, it really is. The finish is interesting in that it has 3 textures. It's a mixture of gloss and matte on the back with texture on the sides for grip.It's not a hard case, nor is it a stretchy skin. It's somewhere in between being a thicker,tougher silicone. And It fits perfectly. To tough to stretch but flexible to give the perfect fit.It gives the phone a sleek appearance but gives it lots of grip.It has a low profile lip around the screen which would prevent the screen from making direct contact with a surface like the floor. That is, unless it falls on a raised, uneven surface.I wish they had made this case for my 4s. But to my delight, I just found one almost identical for my iPad mini. Got my first iPhone a couple weeks ago and it appeared to be a little more fragile than previous cellphones, so I decided I needed a case. I was a bit shocked at the low price of this case, but impressed with the many positive reviews. I can enthusiastically echo the praise; this is a mighty fine case and exactly meets my needs. Some of the other cases I've seen are bulky and would make it difficult to carry the phone in my pocket. The hard rubber is very smooth with very little added bulk, and it still slides very nicely into my pocket. It appears to fit perfectly - I see no issues at all. It also seems to snap on with just the right amount of force - enough to keep it securely on, but also fairly easy to remove. I could not be more impressed and highly recommend the case.11/9/12 update: Was driving a cargo van a few days ago and forgot I had put my phone on my lap. When I opened the door to get out, the phone fell a good 5 feet down onto blacktop. The only damage was a little scuff on the corner of the case, and that easily rubbed off. Without the case the iPhone would have been history. After 3 months of usage, the case (and iPhone) still look new. Continue to be very pleased with the case.

My old case for my iPhone 3GS was starting to fall apart - due to dropping the phone a few times but that's another story. I wasn't sure when or if I was going to upgrade my phone so I didn't want to spend a lot on the new cover. I found this one and saw the great ratings so I purchased it.It was very simple to put on my phone and everything lined up as it should. It looks expensive and stylish. It has a non slip strip on both sides so it is easy to pick up and not drop. I need that non drop part. The cover is slightly higher than the screen so if you do drop it, there is protection for the screen.My only little complaint is that although the black is very nice, I would have liked a different color so I could find it more easily. But that is more my problem. Very nice product. I love the 2 toned black matt and shiny black on the back, and of course it is even cooler with the Apple logo showing. I think this cover has upped my "cool factor" with my family and friends.

I've purchased 2 blue ifrogz covers for my iphone 3gs at $29.99 each. They are beautiful when they are new but, within a few months, the color fades and they start looking very old and worn. The top half cracked on my first one and I had to buy another. When it cracked on my second one I decided to try something else. This is the best $3.00 I could have spent. I love this cover! It's soft and has really sleek lines. I was concerned about having to take it off every night for my docking station, but it goes on easily and I can remove it easily as well. I was concerned because a couple of reviews said that this cover didn't fit at all. Mine fits perfectly. The only thing I can imagine is perhaps they received their covers from another vendor or just got one that was faulty. But I'm very pleased with mine and only wish I hadn't spent $60 on covers before finding this one.

It does exactly what it says it will do: cover an ipod and protect it except for the main ipod window. The back and sides are protected. Just don't drop the ipod on the main front window. Seriously, the little gem fits tightly on the ipod, and leaves the openings on the ipod still open (sorry, not well phrased). I am still able to put my ipod into the leather case I bought for it although now the fit is fairly tight. The good side is I feel I have even more protection if I drop the leather case, and the bad side is it is slightly difficult to get the case skin cover on the ipod in the case easily. The rubber seems fairly high quality, and it gives a little, so putting in on the ipod is not impossible, but it is a very tight fit. It does the job it was intended to do, period!

This is a basic case and would probably be fine if you left it on, but I frequently took it off my iPhone and one day, the volume switch permanently broke. If anyone's owned a lot of iPhones, you'll know that breaking the volume switch is relatively hard to do, so I felt foolish for going so cheap for something I used as much as my iPhone. Since then I switched to a 5c and got a Switcheasy Numbers case, which is not as stiff as this case but has the slim profile I was looking for (I like how sleek iPhones are, Otterbox-type cases seem sturdy but I hate the bulk) without breaking off any switches. If you do get this case, just be cautious removing it and don't remove it very frequently.
