The Crochet Bible: The Complete Handbook for Creative Crochet

Excellent
I have had the Knitters Bible for many years and had high hopes for it's companion Crochet Bible. I am not disappointed. I am looking forward to learning a new skill. My only criticism is that there is no mention or recognition of us left handed people. I'm sure a page could have been given over to any special instructions for us, or even just a sentence that reminds us left is right and right is left when working left handed!

Perfect for any crochet level.
The book is easy to use and the instructions are simple to read. The projects are mostly adult clothing, a rug, some accessories and a few baby clothing ideas. It comes with basic information about the stitches used, so perfect for beginners.Would recommend this book.

One of the best books I have
This is one of the very best crochet books I have. It gives detailed instructions about making the various stitches and extra tips along the way. Each process is accompanied by an appropriate project.Although I am not a beginner I have enjoyed reviewing the instructions and tips. There is always something new to learn and you feel that the author has oodles of experience to impart. Not just a series of patterns but a real guide to learning/improving your technique.

Good Reference Guide
I bought this because the only crochet I had done before was granny squares some 40 years ago and wanted to try something different. I love being able to dip in and find instructions for the things I don't know and the project ideas are a good inspiration to try something. I am not a complete beginner stitch wise but have no idea about shaping and making bigger items. So far it has proved very useful and to be honest I just love flipping through it and thinking about what I am going to attempt next as its all so interesting.
