Cover Your Gray Waterproof Hair Color Touch-Up Pencil - Dark Brown (2-Pack)

I decided to grow out my original hair color after coloring my hair for 25 years. I had blonde foils on my crown (started as 4 but my hairstylist kept going until I had 10!). At 63 years old, I have a few gray hairs but not many. I have shorter hair cut in layers, which makes it easier to grow out color (vs one length longer hair). I wanted to subdue the blonde brassy color on top so I used this product. I cannot tell you how amazing this is. Steaking the darker color with the blond hides the demarcation lines of the color and allows for a smoother color effect for you. It does not "rub off" or "runs with rain or water". This has allowed me to grow out my hair to my natural color without having awkward long roots or discoloration. Granted, my hair is shorter and cut in layers which makes it a good bit easier to transition to my natural color. It is extremely easy to apply, is not messy and allows you to apply a little or more, as you see fit. A great product which performs as advertised. If you are either between color sessions with your stylist or you decide to go "natural" this is a good product to assist. Great product for the price point.

I bought two of the lipstick type pencil to cover my gray hairs, so I don't have to dye my hair every month. Does not cover well, it applies to hair in clumps and feels like clay. When applied you cannot style your hair or even touch it, because it comes off easily. I don't mean rubbing your hair, just tapping it will show on your hands. Definitely never use before your get dressed for the day. I ruined a shirt.

Works so good to cover gray for a longer period.

This is great as a temporary solution. Feels a little waxy - but just smooth it in and it blends well.

This product is FABULOUS! I have tried the touch up spray on hair color, the mascara wand touch up hair color and this BY FAR surpasses all of them in ease of use! There is no mess like there is with the others and lasts for a few days! HIGHLY recommend!

I have premature white hairs coming in, but not quite enough to make me want to start coloring at the salon. I used this to cover the visible, shorter, single strands. I was surprised how well it concealed them and blended in with my dark hair. Great temporary solution!

Used as instructed. This product does not work at all. It left hair looking very dirty/oily, clump. Did not leave a seamless natural look like the product claimed. Because of how it looked, the next morning I had to shampoo after applying it the evening before. It was definitely not waterproof because after one shampoo, the color already came off. Also, I woke up with most of the temporary hair color off and hair looked like I haven't shampoo in over a week.

I love this pencil. I use it in-between coloring. I got them in medium brown & dark brown. I found that the dark brown works better with my medium brown hair. They are easy to use and apply.
