HERCOO924-798 Dome Lamp Switch Roof Map Light LED Bulbs for 34404-SDA-A21 34404-SDA-A22D3 Compatible with Honda CR-V Odyssey Accord Pilot Ridgeline Dodge Ram 1500

I watched a video on how to take down the overhead light console for my 2007 Accord, and installed the new switches and LED bulbs in less than 15 minutes start to finish. The video helped to identify where & how to pry off the light panels and drop the console out of the headliner, as well as expose the switch connections. Very easy job to fix the overhead lights not coming on even though the reading lights would when pressed. These new switches resolved the problem, and the new LED lights are huge improvements over the previous bulbs in brightness and whiteness of the light.

We were quoted a price for a replacement for the entiRe housing of the lights by the dealership. After watching a video on how to install it, we ordered and the rest was history. Our map lights were out for over a year and once we looked it up, my hubby had it in in less than 30 mins. Excellent!! I’ve got lights now!!

I installed the setup in just a short time. They work great.I decided to use these LED bulbs, because I figured that with less watts, the switches would last longer.The color output of these bulbs doesn't match the rest of the van; they are very blue in comparison to the yellow output of the previous bulbs. I thought about putting in the old bulbs so that the van would match, but decided that the life of the switches was more important.

Pretty easy 10 minute job to replace.Remove the whole map lamp assembly by removing 2 overhead 8mm bolts from the Honda Pilot. Pry the old switch out with a flat tip screwdriver, push in the new switch. Or you can take out the whole assembly, include the sunglasses holder, by removing all four 8mm bolts. Do not use phillips screw driver, socket wrench is better.

Part was as described and works great. The new led lights are bright and the switch was easy to change out in just a few minutes.
