So...I must be on a bad streak or pissed someone at Amazon off, because I've had a string of disappointing buys (really, most were mainly Prime Day purchases, which makes me rethink Prime Day now...). Anyhow, these were no exception.First of all, they are considerably smaller than they should be--and they haven't been washed yet. I purchased these to use as re-usable shopping bags that could be washed if they were soiled. I've ordered these kinds of bags before and received medium to heavy canvas bags of decent size for shopping, so i just expected the same with these.Instead, I received bags that are considerably smaller than others I've ordered with the same purported dimensions. They also are more like a medium cotton--not canvas, which means they will wear out much quicker.Since they haven't been pre-washed I suspect, after they are washed for the first time, they'll be roughly big enough to put individual parcels of PRODUCE into. Really, that's of no benefit to me at all, since I already have mesh and muslin bags I use for that purpose.Anyhow, I will say that they seem to be made decently. If you are looking to make a little tote for like hen parties or little girls' birthdays, I think these would be great for that--just pre-wash them prior to decorating them. I think they couldn't hold a binder, but maybe a spiral notebook or two--which is a great size for adolescents. But if you want to use it for utility, don't get these particular bags.

Machine washed these on cold/delicate, and machine dried on air only. I didn't measure before/after, but any shrinkage is very minimal. Best of all, they came out pretty smooth, with no loose threads. I will iron them before I add appliques, but will not need to iron them after routine washing in the future. I bought them to use as tote/grocery bags, so will use my sewing machine to reinforce the "X" stitching that secures the handles. These are a good size for groceries, but unlike my old bags, the handle is long enough to go on my shoulder. I bought white, so no idea about colors fading in the wash. Very happy with this purchase.

These are just great! Turns out to be a perfect size and weight. I’ve even had grocery packets comment on their great size. They hold a substantial amount but ate not so huge that fully packed they are too heavy. The construction is sturdy and I find the straps a good length to sling over my shoulder or carry hanging. I am only 5’2” if that information is helpful. And they wash great unlike canvas. I bought two sets and use them all the time.

A reasonable size bag that can be use as a quick run to the grocery store to pick up a few items. I will be decorating them with HTV to give as gifts.

I like the bags - they were a good size abc we were able to pack a lot of light items in them — but I would not recommend using them for anything breakable. They were OFF WHITE / IVORY — not “white”.

These are well made bags. They are perfect for I got them for. All my adult kids and their kids read lots of books. I am crafty person and have a Silhouette Cameo that I love so I bought them to put sayings on them with vinyl. I will say they are a thinner canvas and not a heavy canvas. So if you are looking for a heavy canvas, these won't be what you are looking for. If you like a softer thinner canvas that is not stiff, these will be perfect for you.

time will tell with the durability. all i know is i heard thread ripping from one of the handles as it was loaded with a 6 pack of beer, a large bottle of wine, & not much else. though it did hold up, i figured the worse case scenario would be cracked bottles & me being patient enough to resew the handle.

Great bags at the moment for gifting and general passing from one household to the other, looking after relatives etc. Look nice and smart too.

These little bags are handy. I was fed-up of bags breaking while carrying my shopping and so these bags are most welcome. I try not to place too many heavy items in them and so they serve me well and they can be folded and place in your handbag. Sometimes when I am out and make a last minute decision to pick up the odd item from the shop I would just take one of these bags out of my handbag as it also saved me buying a bag every time that I go to the shop.I would definitely recommend these bags. They were also delivered before the estimated date - thank you seller!

This is the second time I have bought these. They are roomy and hold a lot of items. Sturdy and well made. Far better than other shopping bags I have tried. With the bottom panel, it is easier to bag groceries, and they hold more. Very pleased and would recommend these.
