TLDR: Fantastic value for what you get. Surprisingly good product for the price point. Bright and effective lantern and headlamps.This combo pack of two headlamps and a lantern was nothing like what I expected given the listed price. In the package you're getting two headlamps, 1 lantern, 6 AAA batteries (3 each for the headlamps) and 3 AA batteries (for the lantern).Lantern:I couldn't really get a good angle on the lantern for a good shot, but it puts out a good deal of light for its size. It cast light from end to end in a fairly large open area in the lower level of our house. I was more than a little surprised. One big "feature" that I was really interested in trying out was the small metal "hangers" (for lack of a better term) on each side.Most modern camping tents have some sort of hook inside in the center of the top of the tent to which you can attach (just about anything, but usually) a small light source to use inside at night. Threw the tent together this evening and with the addition of a small D ring, this hung perfectly from the top of the tent. We did have to collapse it partially due to how much light it was putting out in that small of a space when fully open, but it will make a fantastic camping lantern.Headlamps:They are very lightweight (even with the batteries installed), and the straps are soft and comfortable. If you've ever had one with poor quality strap, you know it can be incredibly uncomfortable. Walked around for about 30 mins with it on and I could barely tell it was there.I have attached some pictures of the headlamps light levels. The dark picture is just to give you a baseline for the light in that room. Low is the low mode and high is the high mode. It produces more light than I expected. If you're wondering the back wall there is about 25-ish feet from where the picture is being taken.All in all I would definitely recommend this. I have had cheapo "emergency" lanterns and headlamps before and these are quite nice. For once the value of what you're getting here (in my opinion) definitely exceeds the meager price tag on these.

This is a good value for a set of two headlamps and a lantern, though the quality isn't superb. I like that these run on replaceable batteries, as opposed to being rechargeable. I feel that makes these better for a long camping trip, or as emergency supplies, though not as environmentally friendly. The headlamps run on 3x AAA batteries each, the lantern, 3x AA batteries. The set includes cheap, off brand batteries. The headlamps have a high, a low and a strobe setting. The lamp only has one brightness level and no power switch. It comes on when you open it up. The brightness is decent, but far dimmer than some of the super powerful flashlights that are made these days. Instructions are very basic, but these are pretty simple products to use. I couldn't find any information on how water resistant these are. They don't seem to have an IP or IPX rating. The product page says they're water resistant, but instructions say not to expose them to water. I don't think I'd take these out in severe rain. I feel the best part about these is you get a set of three lights for a good price.

Okay let me say first off wow are these lights bright! When I first received this package of Zero Dark Tactical Gear 3-Piece Set Camping Lights, Outdoor Lantern and 2 LED Headlamp I thought "well the lantern is not very big and the headlamps are rather small as well." but after installing the batteries, which was very easy, and turning them on I was complete blown away. Both the lantern and the headlamps are extremely bright and would work in any dark or low light situation. The batteries were very easy to install and the fact that they run on batteries instead having to be charged (like rechargeable lights) is a plus as who wants to have no power due to a storm and have to recharge their lantern or flashlight? Not me. Both the lanterns and headlamps are made of strong, rugged plastic. The metal handles on the lantern feel solid and the straps on the headlamps are stretchy but strong. Definitely a great set I'm glad I have this for emergency when we need light in our home or when we go camping. 5 out of 5 stars.

I think this is a great price for this bundle! It comes with the batteries which is convenient. You can use all three of these right out of the box. The lights are fairly bright and the beams shine out a decent distance in my opinion. We like using the headlamps for reading and playing games at night. The lantern is super compact so it fits easily in my containers of camping supplies. So far these work well and I recommend this set!
