MARS WELLNESS Plantar Fasciitis Posterior Night Splint (X-Small)

I've been using night splints for almost ten years now and I've tried almost every variety that's out there. I find the posterior kind like this one more comfortable than the dorsal kind even though they are more bulky. The dorsal kind tends to make my foot numb and I end up removing it halfway through the night. This disrupts my sleep and takes away from the benefit of wearing it. Being able to wear it is the most important factor when choosing a night splint.I was using the dorsal type anyway because I couldn't find a posterior one small enough. I chose this brand because it comes in an XS. My foot is exactly 8.5" and the extra small is just big enough. I think it would be ok up to 9", but I would consider going with the small if your foot is any longer than 8.5". Your toes will be past the end of the splint. Up to 9" you can probably scoot the wedge out far enough for it to still work.Since it's so small and light it's very comfortable for sleeping. I wish the pads on the straps were just a little smaller because I could stand to tighten it on my calf just a little more but the padding gets in the way. If I had particularly small calves or if this was being used to drop foot in a child you would probably have to remove or try to modify the padding on the topmost strap.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I am a woman size 7 but I got the xsmall because it was for my left foot which is really a 61/2 and it fit perfect with my large toe sticking out just a little. I rather have my large toe passing the end of the boot a little then having a boot that fits a size 8 in women's also. I don't like when these type of boots or too large. I wish they made them more accurate in size like a boot that fits 61/2 and a size 7. It would be closer in size instead of a 7 to 8 which would be too large. The boot is very light and comfortable and I like the fit. Happy with the purchase.

The only brand for XS I can find. This item helps with my heel pain. While using it at night, I use a compression socks during the day. The combined effects are really helpful.The cons are1. I have to unbukle/ buckle when I need to use the bathroom.2. The front belt bothers the instep of my foot.Despite of the inconvenience I will use this item since it helps with the pain on my heel.

Item not sized as described/appropriately. Straps do not adjust appropriately. If you have small legs or feet, and actually want support vs your whole lower leg flopping around, this will not work for you. Very disappointed. item defective, and/or sized wrong, Seller refuses to send prepaid label to return. Item is large and will cost me more to ship than the price of the item. Don’t recommend.

Great product! Came in yesterday and slept in it last night after adjusting several times and no pain this morning. I’m a 5.5 shoe size with small legs and I ordered an XS and it’s not a great fit, my heel did not lay in the bottom of the boot and the top 2 straps don’t even touch my leg, but it worked. If I had it to do over I think I would order the one with the strap on the top of the foot. It’s less bulkier and would be better for small feet. However, this product does work so 4 stars from me.
